About this property

Classic Montreal Atelier

Get ready to feel right at home in our cozy and inviting space. As you enter, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, equipped to whip up delicious meals or explore the hundreds of unique restaurants all around the city to satisfy your culinary cravings!.

To ensure your comfort, we've carefully prepared the bed with fresh linens and towels, ready for you when you arrive. We've also provided all the essentials, so you can enjoy a refreshing shower after a day of exploring our vibrant city.

This place exists to give you a relaxing and luxurious sanctuary in the heart of downtown. Custom, hand built furniture meets upscale dark tones in one of Montreal's most sought after neighborhoods. It's one of our absolute favourite units and we're 100% confident in saying that you can't - CAN NOT - beat this place.

This place is modernly renovated and elegant yet minimalist -Some of the furniture is brand new, some of it is hand made - but all of it is incredible and it all works together to deliver an experience that simply can't be topped. But an apartment is more than its furnishings. For example, it's the wall to wall windows in the living and bedrooms to get you your daily allotment of Vitamin D. And the more than ample storage space so that when you arrive, you can (if you like) put your luggage away and really kick up your feet and feel right at home. You're gonna love the brand new kitchen and bathroom. Neither one is big, but both are just overflowing with awesomeness. Long story short - you're going to feel incredible when you're here.

You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the comfort and convenience it offers. Feel free to make yourself at home and unwind in the cozy living area and bedroom. Additionally, we have thoughtfully provided a small workspace for any work-related tasks you may need to tackle during your stay. Stay connected with our high-speed internet, and when it's time to relax, enjoy streaming your favorite shows and movies Disney+ right from the TV. So go ahead, put your feet up, stay a while, and make the most of your time in our welcoming apartment.

We'll do our best to greet you upon arrival and show you around - but, if the logistics don't allow for that we'll send out some simple self check-in instructions that will get you all set up! After that you'll be left to your own devices.

And speaking of devices, ours are always in our pockets. So if there is ANYTHING - day or night - we're available. Feel very free to reach out if there's need.

Being in such a central location is magnificent. You're at the foot of the mountain, but you're only a couple minutes from Sainte Catherine street. Mile End and our famous bagels are due north and world famous St Laurent is a few minutes east. No matter your fancy, it'll be well tickled from this space.

The metro station Place des Arts will be your home base at about a five minute walk from the flat. From there, the green line is all yours. If you wanna head north to the plateau, you can grab the 24 on Sherbrooke and disembark in three minutes (five if it's rush hour) at Saint Laurent and either make the leisurely stroll north, or grab the 55 if you've got a specific destination in mind. If Mile End and the bagels found therein tickles your fancy, it's just a few steps east toward Parc to grab the 80 north. And there's a Bixi stand (a city wide bike rental company) super close to the apartment, just off the corner of Hutchinson & Sherbrooke. And of course, Montreal is one of the most walkable cities in the world, so if you've got a comfy pair of kicks, you're all set!

Please take note of the following information regarding additional sleeping options: We are more than happy to accommodate your request for extra linens and supplies to cater to additional guests or individuals who prefer not to share the same bed. However, kindly note that we can only provide these upon request or if your reservation is booked for three or more individuals. Please understand that we do not automatically provide extra supplies unless specifically requested or booked for a larger party. This allows us to maintain a neat and organized space for all our guests to enjoy. Thank you for your understanding.

We do our best to accommodate everyone and make your stay nothing less than exceptional. We’re flexible, easy-going and will go out of your way to make you as comfortable as we can. We have always been hesitant to have too many rules, so it pains us to write all this. But after years of hosting, we’ve tried to develop rules that are fare and equitable for both parties. We’re happy to help any way we can. If you have any questions or concerns regarding a specific rule, do not hesitate to reach out.
1. SAFETY FIRST: If you notice anything that presents a danger that could result in damage to the location or to any individuals, let us know immediately. Genuinely, your safety is our primary concern. 2. BE RESPECTFUL: Please treat the place as though it were yours. Or better yet, treat it as if you were staying at a dear old aunt's home. An aunt with exceptional taste that is. Please don't use the towels to remove makeup. Please understand that we are not a hotel and damaged furniture and home goods are a major issue for us. 3. COMMUNICATE ANY ISSUES: That being said, accidents do happen, so please, if there ever is a problem just let us know. Most of the time it's not a big deal and, at the very least, we'll be able to start figuring out any logistics before the arrival of the next guests. And that's always a huge help for us. 4. NO SMOKING: Obviously, no smoking under any circumstances. And for the record, leaning your head out the window does not count as being outside - the smell always lingers. We've had issues with this before, and as such, breaking this rule will incur a $300 fine. Hope you understand! 5. TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Recognize that while the AC can be controlled from in the unit (from May – September), the building has central heating. If you need the temperature adjusted, please ask us and we will do our best to make sure you are comfortable. To that end, there is usually a portable heaters & fan in each flat! 6. NO PARTIES: Be considerate of the neighbors - parties or excessive noise are not allowed. This is a residential building where families and residents live and work. So, please respect the building’s quiet hours which are in the building are from 9PM – 8AM. We’re very strict about this: there is a decibel monitor in the space which will notify us of any excessively sustained loud noises during those times. 7. HEADS UP: Usually, a 24-hours notice is required in order to set up a unit for more than 2 guests, to set up an additional bed, or to set up a play-pen as these items are not stored on-site. That said, we will always try to go above and beyond to make you as comfortable as possible! 8. SECURITY: Please recognize and accept that we have cameras at the entry of the property. This is for yours and our security purposes. There are ABSOLUTELY NO CAMERAS or recording devices within the apartment itself! 9. MONTREAL GUESTS: Due to many many issues in the past, we very rarely accept guests from Montreal or the Montreal region. This includes, but is not limited to West-Island, Laval, Vaudreuil, Terrebonne, Longeuil, Ile-Perot etc. If your home address is within a 75 km radius from our property, and/or if your area code is either 514 or 438, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation at any time without cancellation penalties to the host. A note regarding above: You’re dealing with real people. We’re super reasonable, and if you happen to need a place to stay for whatever reason, we’re happy to help! But we need to feel comfortable with the reservation: So, don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re from Montreal and there are extenuating circumstances that make you want to stay with us. 10. EXTRA GUESTS: Under no circumstances are guests allowed to bring additional people to the property that were not originally listed on the reservation. We reserve the right to charge up to an additional $50 per person, per night, for any additional guests. 11. LATE CHECKOUT: We always do our best to give you a free late checkout whenever possible, provided it’s scheduled in advance. That said, we only schedule one person to clean your space. If you are more than 30 minutes past (the agreed upon) check-out, we’ll have to charge you an additional $25 for cleaning. (We’ll have to send an additional person over to get the cleaning turned over in time.) 12. LEGAL JARGON 1: Failure to comply with our house rules is grounds for immediate cancellation of the reservation and eviction from the property without reimbursement and with possible penalties to the guest. 13. LEGAL JARGON 2: And for the usual liability clause: Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events.

Mini weekend getaway

The space was decently sized for a group of 3. The hosts (Erol & Jay) provided extra bedding as requested for all guests. On the second day, we asked for additional towels, one of the towels received was an old grey towel that had bleach stains and smelled really sour, not sure if that was an oversight. There is a portable AC unit in the living room, but the actual bedroom only has a small Dyson fan that does not do a great job of providing any cool relief. One suggestion would be putting a portable AC unit in the bedroom throughout the summer as the room does get pretty hot during the day/evening. There is also just two mirrors in the entire unit, with no plug in the bathroom. So 3 women getting ready required some creativity due to the limited available spaces to get dressed. Overall, it was a decent experience for a 48 hr stay.

Close to City Center. The rest nothing to get excited about it. The place is really old and they just add one coat of white paint to cover it. Fist The kitchen has utensils from Dollar store, a coffee cup and small plate from IKEA was chipped. I don't want to go through the details , it will take a page. I was surprised that they give us only 2 body towels and one face Towel for 2 people staying 4 days.i emailed them and got 2 face towels only. The 2 first days we couldn't have cold water in the bathroom. The plumber came the 3th days and told us that somebody mix the pipes in the building and they will try to fixed. When we checked out, a few hours later I got an email from the landlord saying that she heard there was a problem with the hot water. We never called the plumber. I don't know how did. She made it like she didn't know anything about it. I wish if I can add some pictures that I took of the place so people can see how archaic is the place they add a flat screen TV & a Dyson fun to make it like modern. There is no Outlet in the bathroom and the Hallway to plug the Hairdryer and the electric Shaver. The closest is really, really old.I will definitely not recommend it.

Great location

Was in Montreal for 5 days and this apartment suited me very well. Bright and clean with more than everything I needed. Taner was quick with and required communication and even offered to help with storing my bag for a bit after checkout as I had a late flight home. Thank you!

Location, location, location

Amazing location for a budget traveler! The condo is within walking distance of a few major attractions, transit, cafes and grocery stores. Good communication with the host. One (big) problem- second-hand cigarette smoke from a neighboring unit, which permeates every nook and cranny ( we ended up stuffing toilet paper underneath the front door to keep it out).

Lovely!

Host provided lots of information and was very friendly+easy to contact, and the apartment itself was beautiful, clean, and inviting. Nearby there are lots of good food options (Cafe St-Barth for brunch!) plus it’s easy to walk anywhere, we would highly recommend this place
