My husband and I just needed a small place to get away from our very busy schedules. This was the place! The view is absolutely amazing, and I loved the cleanliness of the cabin!
My family and I really enjoyed staying here. It was clean and cozy. My kids loved the loft and the views of the farmland were nice. If we ever need a place to stay near Boone again, we’ll definitely book here again.
I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The entire place was spotless, making it feel like a home away from home.
The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always available to answer any questions and provide recommendations for local attractions. Their hospitality truly made my stay special.
The location was perfect, offering easy access to all the sights and activities I wanted to explore. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free vacation.
Cabin was as described - well appointed. Cute, tiny hope - we were impressed with how spacious the cabin felt. Christmas decor was a nice touch. We have children at AppState a this will be high on our list for a “go-to” place to stay for our weekend visits! Stay here - you won’t be disappointed!
This property was beautiful and perfect size for my husband, myself, and our 7 year old. We did not feel cramped. The view was astonishing. The bed was comfortable. Full size fridge. Good size shower. Only thing I would recommend would be a hook in the bathroom to hang your towel. That is just a minor thing. The little place has so much storage to stash away your luggage items and get them out of the way. Great location in regards to proximity to town. Blowing Rock was only about 10 minutes or less away. I recommend checking out Local Lion for donuts. I wish we had been able to walk the property, but the weather did not permit. You have a view that just goes forever. Definitely book this place! My son wants to go back to "Cozy Bear Haven" as soon as we can! He loved his own loft area in the cabin. Thanks for allowing us to rent a great place!
The view from here is simply stunning. I wish I could attach a photo. The cabin is so cute, so well-appointed and is or appears brand new. We love the personal touches like hair ties available in the bathroom and K-cups for the coffee maker.
Like so many places in Boone, you feel like you are in the country away from it all, but you are minutes from town. Win-win!
The cabin was exactly as described. My kids loved sleeping in the loft. The view was amazing. We sat outside for lunch and watched the cows in the distance. Then at night, we gazed up at the stars and planets. We also roasted marshmallows at the fire pit. Rhonda was the perfect host and provided everything we needed.
We really loved the place! Very clean ! With beautiful bear touch and Christmas decorations made a nice atmosphere! Very nice mountains view! We played with the snow built a snowman and sled down the hills on site . Just a few things, couch was a little small for 4 of us to sit and watch a movie at night. Floor was very cold we had to put double socks on . The second morning was so cold at the cabin we had to put jackets on and shoes inside. Forget about the shower, the bathroom temperature was too cold we did not even attempt taking a shower. There was Wind blowing thru the bathroom pocket door. We are not sure why the temperature was so cold inside the cabin. But it got to the point of being to uncomfortable. We left a little early .
My family of four stayed two nights at this property and it was great! I wasn't sure what to expect but my expectations were surpassed. The house was very clean, well stocked, and the the views were great—all while being conveniently close to Boone.
Rhonda was great to deal with. We took the ATV ride, last minute, with our two kids (9, 11) and they had a nice time doing that. It was great that they could accommodate the last-minute request. Even though the property has other tiny homes next to this one, they were spread and angled enough to feel as if we were had privacy.
The fire pit was nice. I did think it was a private firepit versus a communal one, but it was a minor thing and really did not matter at all. We lit a fire the first night and enjoyed ourselves.
My only negative would be the two beds in the loft. You could feel the springs all through them. I flipped the mattresses over and they were much better (maybe they were upside down by accident?). Once I did that neihter kid said a thing about it, so I assume they were OK with the change.
We'd definitely stay here again.
This is the PERFECT place to stay for a weekend getaway! The cabin is even better in person, with anything you can think of provided for you. The entire rental process was flawless and you can’t get a better view. If you’re looking for the perfect place to unplug for the weekend, look no further. Absolutely great experience. Also, the cows and horses, it doesn’t get any more relaxing than this!
Rhonda and her family were very welcoming. The cabin was very clean and cozy. My son loved to explore the farm.
Thank you for the great accommodations!

My husband and I fell in love with the Blue Ridge/Appalachian Mountains while visiting the Boone area on a trip to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. Five years later we found this beautiful 206-acre property we are now blessed to call home. But our dream wasn't to keep this little piece of heaven to ourselves, we wanted to share this incredible place with others, so we began to slow process of adding tiny vacation cabins for people to come and experience the amazing outdoors of Boone, North Carolina.
Why they chose this property
Each cabin has its own charm, but it's the views and the peaceful outdoors that are the most captivating!
What makes this property unique
The property is unique in that it's so vast. From the incredible view as soon as you round the corner, to the tiny yet cozy atmosphere of each and every cabin. The ability to sit and enjoy the stars and fireflies in the evening, to the peaceful walks across the fields during the day to admire the cows/calves and horses. It's truly a beautiful place!
