ENCLOSED fenced BACKYARD FOR SAFETY FOR YOUR LITTLE ONES OR PETS. YES, PETS ARE ACCEPTED WITH THE APPROPRIATE non-refundable DEPOSIT. THE RAINBOW RIVER IS WALKING DISTANCE WHERE YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE public boat launch called BLUE RUN OF DUNNELLON PARK. ACROSS THE STREET FROM SWAMPY'S RESTAURANT. IT IS ALSO USED FOR THE PUBLIC exit for tubers. We do have a family friend that allows guests staying at our home to use their private dock as long as it is not rented out to other VRBO guests.
If we are in town then we will be happy to allow you access into the NEIGHBORHOOD private park where we literally would need to 'babysit' while you are enjoying it. OTHERWISE THE public BLUE RIVER RUN PARK IS AVAILABLE TO ALL OF THE PUBLIC.

We are a fun couple that has a 91 year old father that came to live with us and so we moved from our costa rica property back to dunnellon where we love to kayak the Rainbow river. In the past we were kayak guides in the philippines and costa rica and honduras. There is nothing else like the rainbow river and we throughly enjoy hosting our guests whether it is for a meander up the river in a kayak or a pontoon tour ride up to the headsprings where we will release you for your leisurely float paddle downstream on your own. All you need to bring is your smiles and your own floaty tube since it is hard for us to keep all of our tubes blown up after our guests seem to get a hole or 5 while going downstream. there is a local wal mart where you can get your own, or there are tube rentals galore in the little village of dunnellon.
Why they chose this property
This property comes with the benefits of a private dock with a boat ramp if we happen to be here so you can launch your own boat into the rainbow river and go either upstream TO THE CLEAR BLUE SPRINGS OF THE HEADWATERS. or downstream to the withlacootchee river. the heighth restriction of your boat needs to clear the 9 foot BRIDGE mark, so boat with low clearance is very necessary. otherwise we have tons of kayaks for you to use with a small deposit that is returned after a no damage inspection is performed.
