Exactly what we were looking for with the exception of a couple of hiccups
We arrived to find the hose running in the hot tub. It was overflowing and a cool 54 degrees. We were very disappointed as that was a huge selling point of the property. The fire pit was a huge success with plenty of firewood provided by the home owner. Luckily we arrived right at check in to remedy the hot tub issue and it was a nice 104 degrees the next morning. The only other issue was feces in the large back yard. About 1/2 was deer and the other half was dog poop. The owner explained there had been snow cover but when we arrived all snow had completely melted. I picked it up and sent pictures to the host and he insisted that it was "100% deer feces." I didn't care to argue this point as we were only there for one night. The host responded very quickly to our concerns.
House is cute and well kept. It’s in a lovely neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. Was too cold to sit on the porch but the view is lovely. Was supposed to be a girls trip but plans changed to just myself and my dog. Was a nice quiet get away.
Beautiful location & neighborhood! Tons of deer and the house was very clean. We really liked staying here and will be back one day! Only tiny criticism I have is that the queen bed is SUPER firm… too firm. and that’s coming from someone who actually likes a firm mattress. Other than that the house was perfect!
Spent all week hiking at ONP. Residence met all of my friend and my needs. Not too far from groceries and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Washer/ dryer allowed us to replenish our hiking clothes. Overall a relaxing base camp for us
My family and I were SO looking forward to our stay at the Cosy Cottage however a family emergency came up and we had to cancel. I begged to have them simply change the dates for me however, they wouldn’t budge. Please make sure you won’t run into any issue before your trip because you will lose all of it!!
Took the misses away for a night, great little property! Favorite parts were the hot tub and fire pit. Only would ask that the supplies on property were checked prior to next guest. We had several items missing or couldn't be located.
The house was comfy and had everything we needed for our 1 night stay. We booked this property for the hot tub and used it for hours. It was so relaxing and easy to use controls. We saw deer in neighbors yards both days. Quiet neighborhood and very chill which is what we needed and wanted. If we were coming to the area again we would totally stay here again. ( if you pass through Sequim check out the Oak Table cafe for breakfast!!)
Quiet location and simple amenities. It was a perfect retreat for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub nightly after numerous long hikes and walks in Olympic National Park. We easily took the very over to Victoria too. The home had all what we needed for a quick trip
The property is not fancy, but we weren't looking for luxury. Considering how close all the houses are together, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet and peaceful it is.
Watch out for the deer everywhere! Nice view of the water. Close enough to everything, far enough to avoid disruption.
We were on the go whale watching and hiking, so never even ended up using the hot tub or the kitchen!
Would stay here again.
The house was super cute and exactly as described in the listing and photos. The neighborhood was friendly and super quiet and there were beautiful views off of the bluff while we walked the dogs. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect area to get away from the hustle, bustle and crowds and chill for the night with your group. The drive "into town" was short and conveniently located. We had 3 adults and 2 dogs in our group and enjoyed the stay very much.
Only things that got 4 stars instead of 5 (and were no fault of the property owners) was that the cleaning crew was running late so we had to find a place to wait out about 30 minutes to be able to get in. We also found a few small spots where you could tell were missed because the cleaning crew was rushing to get done.
Great place to stay in an amazing location. House is very complete and host provides excellent service. Good communication and quick response if you have a question and even if you run out of coffee. Jacuzzi is a very nice addition giving the opportunity to watch the stars at night and the deer walking trough the garden in the evening.
Very lovely and quiet location near the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It was very relaxing here and we were visited by a mother deer and her fawn, wandering through the neighborhood. The house was well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood that worked as a fantastic base camp for all of the activities we wanted to do. Amar was a wonderful host and we had all we needed to relax and have the best time exploring Olympic National Park and the peninsula!
We loved the quiet neighborhood and convenience of this spot so close to Port Angeles. Front and back porches are really nice and perfect for a family of 4 to cook some easy meals and relax after a day of adventures nearby.

Why they chose this property
Our family has done numerous trips to Olympic Peninsula after our first visit to see mother nature at its best. This region has so much to offer but still just couple of away from busy life in Seattle. It's a calming vacation home for us and a stress buster with amazing views and abundant wildlife.
What makes this property unique
Views, wildlife on property and a perfect size for a family but still connected to Port Angles and Sequim that offer plenty of tourist activities.
