Cozy & Close to Everything
Convenient to everything in Bryson City, 2 minute drive to anything in town. If you don't mind an uphill walk on your return, reasonably fit people could likely walk to town (with 2 young kids and the winter cold, we didn't try it!). The view of the town below was beautiful. Traveling at Christmas time, we were able to see the lights of the town and hear Christmas Music from the Polar Express from the deck, which was lovely. The size was adequate for our family of 4. If you are planning to make meals, be aware that (at the time of our stay) there was a microwave, air fryer, crock pot, and coffee pot. There is no oven, stove top, or griddle. You do have some cooking options, and there are also lots of restaurants very close by. This is 1 house that has been sub-divided into 2 living units. While you have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a livingroom area all to yourself & not connected to the other unit, the other half of the house may be occupied (not sure if it's the property owner or another rental unit). There is one big wrap-around deck, although there is a gate which can be closed to separate deck spaces. The other unit was occupied during our stay, but we had no issues. Overall, a very nice holiday visit.
