Absolutely excellent !!! Beautiful place well equipped , beds were the best I have ever slept in outside of my home . Host was great !!! Let us hang out in her storm shelter during a tornado
We stayed at Patty’s farmhouse for the thanksgiving weekend. The place was clean and well maintained. Patty was also prompt at responding to any questions or concerns we had during our stay.
Location was close-by the town, yet on a quiet road that was easily accessible. Signs were up to identify turns, and the farmhouse was all that was advertised. The bed was comfy, and there was a lot of room to unwind and relax!
Patty and Sonny’s spot is smack dab in the middle of Marshall. The Kenda Drive-In is mere seconds away and the Buffalo River just a little further. The Farmhouse met all our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and while we didn’t use the washer and dryer, it was comforting to have them. The Woods themselves are a delight. They aren’t far, and if you have time are great conversationalists. I would stay here for future trips to the area.
The cabin was lovely ,nicely decorated and immaculately clean I love the fact that there was a washer and dryer I only had five or six things but I wanted to wear the jeans again. Plenty of towels and the kitchen was set up pretty well . The refrigerator was clean and working very well. The only thing that we would have liked was that we came to see the waterfalls and we weren't
informed that the waterfalls aren't usually running in the summer. But we went to the Natural Bridge and it was gorgeous. I would recommend the place to anyone. One last thought and that is that the food choices are not great in the area. They said the best restaurant had closed down we had some good Mexican food . We brought some food I would recommend bringing food for breakfast especially so you don't have to go out. We had some Cajun food that wasn't bad but it was extremely expensive and very salty My daughter said for Cajun food it's not bad. I would not go there again but it was pretty nice to walk around and look at it also they had some of the best hush puppies I ever had. They had seafood in them . Shrimp and crab. None of the restaurants had beer or wine. I think it's a dry county we didn't really investigate.
love the very good working refrigerator.
This property was just as listed and worked perfectly for us! It is decorated so cute, the bed was comfortable and the front porch was perfect for a quiet and comfortable evening! Would definitely stay again!
Found it to be very clean. Not a lot of choices in Marshall. Check in was wonderful. I had no problems. I would also say that don't worry about the address being Sewer Plant Road. I saw no signs or smelled nothing of a sewer plant. There's a really nice park within walking distance.
Well kept and easy to locate. Super friendly folks, pretty much the entire town is really friendly. Best part was relaxing in the rocking chairs waiting for all the stars to come out.
Perfect place for our family to meet up before doing a weekend on the Buffalo river. The house was as advertised, Kliene in the communication was great. Highly recommend.
We were in the area for family gathering and the property was very cute and looked like the pictures show. Patty was very nice and easy to work with. If I were to ever come back I would stay here again!
Cute property near many Buffalo River activities. This is a nice property for 2 adults and two children, will be tight for 4 adults. Be aware this is a dry county so you may come prepared.
Super host and cute place. It had everything we needed. Only disappointment was, due to our schedule, we didn't get to sit on the front porch rocking chairs and take in the peaceful surroundings. Would book again.
I've stayed twice so far... and will stay again. The hosts are extremely friendly, treat you like family, and go out of their way to accommodate. It is a great place to stay when in the area for canoeing, hiking, and exploring the Buffalo National River. It is in town, but has an "out of town" feel. Enjoy your morning coffee on the full front porch and watch the sunset playing catch in the wide-open back yard.
I chose this because I was on my way to Mountain Home & wanted somewhere in between. I was on my way to get my puppy & even though it’s not listed as “ pet friendly “ they let me bring her.
It’s comfortable & clean. A cute mobile home with the exterior & interior tweaked to look like a farmhouse. Great for 1-4 people. I noticed many attractions on my way to Mountain Home. This is a more affordable VRBO than some. For the price I think you can’t go wrong.
Very responsive hosts also. Bring a fan if noise of window unit going on & off would bother you.
