Location was great, close to the beach and not a far drive from other destinations we visited on the cape.

Perfect location, Perfect house

This house was perfect for our family of 5 - plenty of room for everyone with comfortable beds and two separate TV rooms for the kids to watch what they wanted. And you cannot beat the location on the Cape - beaches within walking distance and a short ride to other towns to explore. The house is appointed with every kitchen need and the backyard is ideal for outdoor dining and relaxing. Definitely a 'must rent again' for us!

Amazing Location, Great House!

We loved staying at The Lighthouse! The location was unreal..it was a quick walk to a fantastic beach and we walked to all of our dinners. The house was even better than the photos and the outdoor space was awesome! The owner was wonderful and communicative. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing House Close to Everything

For starters, the host, Nora, was incredible to communicate with and made the booking, checking in & out a breeze. The location is perfect. Close to restaurants, Glendon Rd Beach (5 min walk), and activities. Our children ages 1 and 5 thought the lighthouse bedroom, toys, and backyard playhouse was amazing. They were never bored! We would absolutely stay here again. The house was immaculate and beautiful.

Best vacation house

This was a dream house for us!!!! Everything was welcoming had everything we needed for the perfect vacation thank you so much for welcoming us into you vacation house the lighthouse!!!! We plan on booking again really soon maybe making this our yearly spot

Walk to the beach

Lovely home with a fantastic backyard. The backyard and home layout is great for a family with kids, which I will keep in mind when I bring my nieces and nephews.

Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing stay at the lighthouse in Dennis Port, Cape Cod! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had an adorable nautical theme throughout. It was perfect for our kids—the toys, the cute toddler bed in the lighthouse, and the play area in the fenced-in backyard kept them entertained the whole time. The house is close to many activities, making it a great base for exploring the area. One thing to note is that you’ll need to bring your own linens, but that was no issue for us. We stayed with another family, and despite there being just one bathroom, the outdoor shower made it totally manageable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Family of 5 adults getaway

Highly recommend this rental. Great for all sorts of activities. This is a fantastic space for family with plenty of gathering space indoor and outdoor as well as private space if you want to read etc. We enjoyed the short walk to beach area and the cute beachy communities down the street. Plenty of parking here which is at a premium at rentals generally. Some beds are more comfortable than others and I’d suggest bringing your own pillows but overall we were very comfortable here. LOVE the outdoor shower!

Best weather week of this summer!

After a wet June and July, the spell broke the week we went down the Cape. Our oldest child, recently married, wanted to show is wife where he spent his summers growing up. With 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and a large outdoor space, we all were together but had plenty of breathing room. The outdoor shower was a hit and all used it. Walking/biking distance to the beach one way and walking distance to Chapins and the Sundae School the other. Nora was wonderful to work with, no issues with checkin or anything else for that matter. I would stay there again!

Great for our family with little kids

This stay worked out great for us. The temps dropped while we were here so the house got chilly, but the space heaters saved us! The pack and play worked perfectly for my infant. My 4 year old loved the light house (as did we) and the toys and backyard play house were the icing on the cake. Highly recommend for families with kids!

Beautiful house in a great location

The house is fantastic, ideal Cape Cod home. Plenty of room for our 4 kids (6,6,8,8) to have their own personal time apart from each other, but still have lots of quality time together. Clean, spacious, great backyard to eat, drink and relax. Short distance from many restaurants and beaches. Great communication with host

A gem of a house

We completely lucked out with finding this great house. We all had our own space to sleep and relax. Then gathered for puzzle-making in the family room. The kitchen was perfect for casual meals. Although only 1 bathroom, the enclosed outdoor shower was the bonus, especially with 5 adults. My daughter and I only showered outside - nothing better than the sun shining down on you while the water washes away a day at the beach. 😊 The outdoor fire pit was perfect for smores or just hanging out - plenty of outdoor seating with dining tables too. But the cutest and most charming part of the house has to be the lighthouse. If you’re traveling with toddlers, be prepared, they are all going to want to sleep in the lighthouse room with its special bed just for them! The entire house is tastefully decorated with a nautical and beach theme. You will feel right at home and on vacation at the same time. The owners are gracious hosts and were very responsive to all my questions. We will definitely consider this house again should our travels bring us back to the Cape. Book this house - don’t hesitate!

Cool, spacious and accommodating

The house was very clean and nicely decorated. It being the middle of summer, it also kept myself, husband, and two teen kids very cool and comfortable. There was plenty of room to move around and be inside or outside. The walk to the beach was easy, down the street, and we brought bikes allowing us to ride around the corner to the market. Restaurants and shops very close driving distance. Hosts were able to address a minor repair very quickly. An original fun feature is definitely the lighthouse. It was fun to look up in it! For children, the house is very accommodating with books and toys. It was also very helpful to have a washer and dryer, and the outdoor shower.

Ideal for Family Vacations!

My 3 teens and I enjoyed a short stay at The Lighthouse. I wish we could have stayed longer! This rental provides amazing value and is well suited to families with children. The owner was super friendly and responded to my questions immediately. The house was spacious and cheery with a fantastic back yard. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishes and condiments (mustard, ketchup, etc.) in the fridge. Many toys, two TV areas with Roku, reliable internet and several comfy sofas provide ways to stay entertained in all weather. We arrived during a heat wave and were happy to find ceiling fans in the bedrooms, an outdoor shower, gas BBQ and large dining table in the private yard. One of the two air conditioners was quite noisy but did its job well. When it’s 90 degrees and humid, any air conditioner is a bonus! This was my first time staying in Dennis Port and I would describe it as quiet and not pretentious. There is a very nice small beach at the end of the street and a much larger (and busier) one within a 15-minute bike ride. The convenience store around the corner sells decent coffee and donuts, and you can walk to several restaurants, ice cream and mini-golf. Parking for the Cape Cod Rail trail is also very close by if you don’t want to bike on the streets. It wouldn’t be my location of choice for a group of friends, but for vacationing with family it was a fantastic spot.
