Quaint Hunting lodge, redone for family enjoyment in the wilderness.
A older hunting lodge recently remodeled for families to enjoy while fishing in the small pond just out the front door , this is a carch and release only pond! Families can hike around the 60 acre property in the great outdoors. Lots of wildlife and nature too soak up. Near multiply sport fishing lakes and in the middle of a large public area that needs explored. Please be sure to visit the Deersville General Store! The town is over 200 years old with alot of history and Ohio’s Butterkrunch ice cream! The General store houses a 1942 ice cream machine where all the magical flavors and fun begin! Has all one would need to have a nice stay it’s spacious and relaxing place to holiday . Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Mellisa
It is gorgeous! Scenic views, peaceful quiet, rustic town. We came from colorado for my brothers wedding and we are so thankful we chose to stay here and not a hotel. It was just perfect and the owner is a great person!
Property was central for friends’ participating in a 200 mile door race. We used it as a home base. Melissa was so helpful when we needed to find grocery and laundromat. Have it deersville general store so close was a bonus, too.
We were surprised but NOT disappointed about it really being one bedroom. Still had plenty of sleeping space.
Having such large bathrooms (and having 2) was also a huge bonus. The runners needed showers and rest a couple of times.
The hunters on the group were impressed. Great cabin in a beautiful area.
Had a great time, ended up being just my dog and I. The screen porch was great, while having coffee early Saturday morning watch a bunch of turkeys come off roast and land in bottom of property. They ended up coming right up to cabin by gas tank. Had a great time even with no phone reception or wifi. Something I need to do more often.
We have been coming here for 12 years and it's a wonderful place to get away and kick back and relax! Your surrounded by nature and peacefulness! The host is friendly and very helpful with any thing need! The place itself is very clean and cozy!
