Thomas and his management team were excellent. We had a situation that was beyond their control and they went above and beyond to rectify the situation.
It was a perfect location for what we needed. Did not hear any noise from connected condo. Only thing that we needed more of was washcloths. There was only 1 in each bathroom. You may want to bring some extras. Would definitely stay again.
It was a cute little cottage! The property manager was very nice & super accommodating! He also sent someone out at 10:30 pm when the air conditioner stopped working. We were very appreciative! The only thing was it was a little far from all the things we had planned to do in beavers bend state park about 32 minutes but overall great place to stay!!
This is a cute house and it is at the end of the street so you don’t have to go far once you turn down the street. Walmart is around the corner and a Dollar General. We were able to go there and get some food items for breakfast. There is a private driveway but it very dark at night as there are no lights next to the property it’s just a field there. It was me and my friend and we are both women so when we got there both nights late we stayed in as it was just way to dark on the side of the house where you park. Luckily since we did have our children we didn’t need to stay out later in the night anyway. The house has access to all streaming apps so we were able to watch our own apps that we normally watch at home. That was a plus. The kitchen had all appliances even a Keurig not needed for us but a nice touch. My biggest issue was there were so many ANTS in the living room like they were crawling on the couch and they were on the floor. My child’s luggage was on the couch surrounded by ants. I moved it and there were ants on the autumn too. I was sitting on the couch a huge ant crawled on my hand i thought okay one ant no problem. We moved the autumn and they had a trail coming from the door to an area under the couch. The host did send a lady to help top of the morning. Wasn’t pleased about being woken up at 7ish in the morning. She put some poison down but like I said there were kids age 2 and 4 there. Kids were not supposed to be exposed to poison and she tried to put it under the couch but it really just ended up on the floor and only a little made it under the couch. We had to vacuum that up before the kids woke up and potentially walked in it or whatever. The ants never left so there was something ultimately under the couch that they were there for but we just let it go. The tub in the master bathroom was dirty so i had to put a towel down in there in order to use it. There was a fouls smell in that bathroom also i don’t know what mold really smells like but i assumed it had to be mold present maybe in the walls. I don’t know i sprayed air freshener but the smell was to strong for air freshener. The other con is when doing dishes there is no drying rack for them. Overall the experience was pleasant for my first time being in like a home away from home. I left something in the house after checkout and the host did let me back in to get it much appreciated.
