The cabin had everything that we needed and more! We stayed for two weeks with just two of us and it was perfect. Two friends flew in to visit as well and that’s when it got a little tight; however, it was still bearable and you can make it work. We absolutely loved the grill, fireplace, and hot tub! I would recommend to anyone in the future wanting to visit this area.

The property was very nice and quite. We were welcomed very pleasantly! We would definitely stay there again.
The pipes froze the day before our visit. They offered to refund the trip, but we went along and still went they provided water jugs to help offset it and we had a blast with the Hot tub to the cozy loft and bed. We will 100% be coming back here again!
My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and it was wonderful. Such a cute little space will everything we needed to have a great relaxing night. It was very very cold but we still got in the hot tub and it was picturesque with the falling snow, deer coming to say hello and stargazing. The heater was fantastic ( a little loud when turning off and on so if you’re a light sleeper I recommend bringing earbuds). We will absolutely be back every season to experience this little slice of heaven!
The cabin was great! Very clean, had everything we needed. Stephanie left a cake for us in the fridge for my birthday, which was so kind. It was very relaxing to enjoy the hot tub under the stars. I would totally stay here again.
Super cute cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and more! We loved the gas fireplace and fire pit outside the most. We didn’t check out the hot tub but it looked really relaxing. Great location and we had a nice stay in this cute cabin in the woods.
We enjoyed the Rose Mountain Escape. Its a really cute, clean and cozy cabin. The personal touches such as the dog treats and toys which our dog got to choose one to take home and the smores kits made us feel welcomed. The owner thought of everything as we had everything we needed and more. We also loved that there is a small fenced in area off the deck so we could enjoy the outdoor space and views and allow our dog to roam some. .
I liked that the hot tub was close to the house. The house was very clean we enjoyed all the games and movies they provided. They had WiFi I just couldn’t access it on the tv. Would have been nice to use some of my subscription services but the TV is the least of my worries. The cabin, location, and host were excellent!
We stayed only one night and that was a regret. The cabin was cozy, clean, secluded, and quiet. I would absolutely recommend a stay at this cabin. I would love to visit again when we can.
We loved the place immediately on arrival. Me my wife and two young kids plus our dogs stayed. It was great they were pet friendly as most places to stay are not. It’s a perfect little cabin that has a lot of privacy. The back deck was great with lights a fireplace and an amazing hot tub. The back fenced in area was great for the dogs. Lots of amenities with a kuerig and snores kit and DVD’s. Awesome place we will definitely be back here!

Charming, well appointed cabin with all services. quiet and private. Because the bed was in the loft with steep stairs it was a challenge for us as seniors
My husband and I stayed here for a quick, kid-free getaway. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was peaceful and cozy. The owner left us a bottle of wine and even put up a "Happy Birthday" banner for my husband. Tons of amenities and touches, so even if you forget something at home, you're probably covered.
We loved our time here and hope to come back sometime. Highly recommend!!
We really enjoyed our stay, very quiet, cozy cabin equipped with everything you could possibly need. The large deck with a hot tub and pretty lights around was very romantic. The host was amazing, going above and beyond to make us and our pup feel welcomed. Will definitely stay again.
My fiancé and I rented this VRBO for a short weekend getaway to celebrate our engagement. Stephanie was an amazing host! She went above and beyond with small touches to make our stay that much more special. We had one hiccup with the fireplace (truly our user error) and Stephanie was so quick to reply and come over to help us out!
The property is a bit secluded but isn’t too far from town; it’s perfect. Close enough to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs for a day of seeing (we did Pikes Peak, Garden Of The Gods, and Cave of the Winds) but the property itself has plenty to keep you entertained if you feel like staying in for a day too. It’s stocked with movies, board games, a hot tub and small fire pit. The kitchenette was perfect for cooking our meals, it was stocked with all cooking utensils as well as plenty of seasonings and spices. The well stocked Keurig station and s’mores kits were some of my personal favorite touches.
We didn’t travel with our pet but based on the guest book it is well loved by any furbaby who visits!
As much as we loved it and wonderful as the property is and we did just want to mention, this property would not be ideal for those with mobility issues; I do believe it’s stated in the listing but the stairs to the loft where the main bed is are very steep and would be difficult for persons who struggle with mobility.
We truly loved our stay at the Rose Mountain Escape and can’t wait to return as a married couple.
Thank you again Stephanie!

The property was very small. But the biggest issue for us was the location.
This was not the fault of the owners but it was remote and hard to find in the dark and then it snowed and we kept getting lost and we got stuck in the snow. It was very stressful. We actually left after the first night.
The host go above and beyond! We absolutely adore the cabin. Stayed here once when we were engaged and came back this year for our first wedding anniversary. Cabin is well stocked with everything you need and more. Hope to come back again!
