It was very spacious and loved that every couple and kids had their own space. Was nice that it had bunks, pack-n-play, high chair to accommodate our young kids. Was little disappointed that it took us cleaning filter to hot tub so we could use it by 3rd day, then heated basketball area would not turn on so we just bundled up.. Definitely need to invest in better beds upstairs...so hard! But overall it was perfect for our family getaway. to Frankenmuth.on so stayed const40(jusr
This was a cozy cabin to relax and enjoy family time after Christmas. We enjoyed the ambiance and setting...especially when it snowed. Great experience!
The house is in an ideal location if you like seclusion. Plenty of room. Only issues were fireplace didn’t seem to work, evidence of mice, and TV did not work in master suite.

Beautiful Property but Poor Management and Maintenance
Property with potential but many maintenance issues. Property listed a pool table/ping pong table as amenities but they were not depicted in the photos. I wrote to the managers prior to booking and was told they were in the basement. I asked for recent photos of those amenities and was sent photos of a basement with a pool table and a ping pong table. When we got there they were not there and the pictures that were sent were not of the basement on this property. That is fraud. The foosball table there was broken, the HDMI cord on Xbox missing. A nice indoor half basket ball court but the heater, which I asked about ahead of time, filled the structure with burning fumes and could not be used. Two outdoor grills in the garage, one that wouldn’t heat up and the other so dirty it could not be used. Steaks and burgers cooked indoors but kitchen had no ventilation so had to open windows and doors. Meals were smoky/cold. The fireplace did not work. Management sent a nice elderly neighbor to fix it and he was able to turn it on once by tinkering with the pilot but we couldn’t get it working again after that, remote didn’t work. Poor lighting throughout and burned out bulbs on two story ceiling so we couldn’t change them ourselves. Two days in was offered half refund if we went elsewhere but no other places available so we made the best of it. Requested partial refund at end of stay due to issues but was ignored. I won’t rent from this company again.
Absolutely wonderful property. The owners have included so many amenities to make traveling almost effortless. The home was spacious inside and out and we could even bring our dogs which have kept us from traveling before because not many accommodate. Definitely well satisfied. Thank you!!
This home was great for our Fall family get-away! The property is beautiful, especially with the autumn colors. We saw deer and wild turkeys and enjoyed soaking in the peace and quiet on the porch. The basketball room was a great amenity! The location is close to both Frankenmuth and Bay City which was great for our daily excursion.
This property was perfect for our girls weekend in the Frankenmuth area. The property was beautiful and the openess of this log cabin house was perfect for us! We golfed, went for walks, grilled, played games, shopped and feasted in Frankenmuth which was only a 25 minute drive away. The house was clean and kitchen well stocked. The setting is so relaxing. Hot tub was a plus but we were bummed because we ran out of time. We will have to rent again in the future so we can hot tub and have a bonfire.
Our family had a wedding close by, so three families went in together to stay at this cabin. Our combined kids range from 1 to 10 and with the drive being 5 hours it was a great place for all of them to run around to have fun and get energy out. House was perfect to have everything we needed to take care of everyone and get ready. Enough room for family to have space, close enough parents could relax and still watch the kids. Loved the ability to play inside, downstairs, in the gym or out in the woods. Host was great and very friendly. Everyone would love to come back to this place!
The cabin and property were beautiful! We rented it to stay at to do a memorial service for a family member in a nearby town. The amenities are great for families, my adult children even really enjoyed themselves. There were a couple minor issues but we just left a note for the property manager. The one complaint was the two upstairs bedrooms beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. But, the cabin was great and we’d definitely recommend it…and would stay again!
Beautiful home and property surrounded with trees. Well maintained. Quiet. Excellent back deck/porch looking out into woods. Plenty of room on the interior, excellent basement amenities. Great comunication with property management and accomodating.
I cannot say enough great things about this property! My *wife* and I stayed here and got married in June. We had our wedding ceremony outside by the playhouse, and our wedding party stayed with us for the week. This space was absolutely perfect for our group! The grounds were beautiful, the cabin was well stocked and the communication and hospitality from Rita was excellent! Despite it being a long drive for our guests, it was completely worth it! We used the little house as a Photo Booth and the detached garage/barn for the reception/dance area! It was such an amazing experience and I look forward to coming back for anniversaries in the future!
If I had to note one thing that wasn’t perfect, I would say that there were a lot of ants in the cabin, (I think they are carpenter ants), but this is a cabin in the woods so that’s to be expected!
All in all, 10/10 recommend for your large gatherings!
