In this cozy basement apartment you will find yourself right at home. In two of the bedrooms, there is a queen size bed with hotel like bedding and two nightstands, each with a lamp and an alarm clock. We recently added a room with a bunk bed. So, there are two twin size mattresses. In the newly remolded bathroom you will find toiletries and extras for your use. The living room makes a great space to gather or pass a few hours as there is comfortable furniture a few games, toys and books. The kitchen can alson be a great area to gather and enjoy yourself. It is stocked with basics like cooking utensils and spices as well as a few breakfast bars, coffees and teas. In the yard, you will find a strawberry patch. Please feel free to pick the ripe ones and enjoy!!

Wonderful basement apartment!

Super clean and nice!!

Really lovely place the hosts did an amazing job with the space highly recommend! Had two teens with us looking at Mines and it was perfect. Not to mention 10 minutes to a concert we went to at Red Rocks :)

Was centrally located to everywhere we needed or wanted to go. The rental had all the amenities we needed including a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. Great fenced yard for pets.

Large, clean rental for a visit to Denver area

My husband, son, and I stayed five nights at this clean 3 bedroom rental in Golden. Beds were comfortable. Linens, and kitchen items were plentiful and good quality. Despite the exceedingly hot weather, the basement apartment was relatively cool with fans aplenty in each bedroom. Jennifer was exceedingly accommodating. My husband ended up driving his RV out so that he could camp with his friends after the wedding we were attending. The owners accommodated our change happily. A maintenance issue came up before we even arrived, and Jennifer offered to put us up in a hotel for the night or provide a refund, but it really wasn't a big deal, and we told her not to worry about it. She refunded a night's payment anyway--and also baked us some cookies. We would be happy to stay here again.

A short vacation

We spent 3 nights here as a base for our Colorado trip. The accommodations were as described and it was very nice having a quiet spot to come back to each night. We spent one day exploring mountain towns of Frisco and Breckenridge and took in a concert at Red Rocks another night. The unit is well appointed with many thoughtful touches as if we were staying in a favorite relatives home.

Lovely stay, great for kids

This downstairs apartment was clean, adorable and perfect for our family. I appreciated all the kids items (toys, plates, utensils, etc). There was even a small fenced area of the yard for our use. Close to Red Rocks and lots of other great things on Golden. Would highly recommend!

Great Home Location For Exploring The Front Range

Jennifer was an awesome host and her home was the perfect jumping off point for exploring all the front range has to offer. Super close to Red Rocks and an easy drive up to Boulder. Having downtown Golden just down the street is icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

Best rental and host ever!

We spent three nights in Jenny's rental unit this past weekend for shows at Red Rocks. The four of us agreed that nothing was lacking--the rental is cute, updated, nice and cool for relief from the Colorado sun, very clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for a visit! A quick walk to restaurants, gas stations, Walgreens etc, and just a 10-minute drive to the best concert venue in the world! Communication beforehand was quick and easy, with great information. Everything listed in the property description is accurate and there were zero disappointments. We really could not recommend Jenny and her rental more!!!

Basement bargin?

Acces to area was good. 10 minutes got you to town without many issues. Host Jenifer was pleasant. The airwichs placed in the outlets were very overwelming and offensive. Took a little time to clear out after they were taken out out of outlets. Unfortunately, one of our party had an allergic response to chemical odor, but was ok after 2nd day. Not seeing overall view of area, e found neighborhood in a little disrepair. Lastly, be mindful when renting, you are below a small young family... and overall i felt they were considereate, but foot traffic was noticeable from time to time. They always made sure our parking spot was available, even when they had their 3 yo birthday party!... i if you wanted a more scenic view or experience, you may want to look at other spaces, but, we found this location very serviceable getting to downtown Golden.

Jen’s place is fantastic. Very sharply decorated and well appointed. Beautiful kitchen. Large and comfortable. Even though it’s a basement apartment there is plenty of natural light. Jen really cares about the place and her guests’ experience and it shows.

Exceeded expectations!

The property was so lovely and perfect for my family who was in town for a wedding. The apartment was more spacious than expected and extremely clean and well kept! The host family that lives above were so nice and friendly! They helped us accommodate a few extra requests and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time! Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend anyone to stay here as well!

Great place to stay

The property was spotless with plenty of room for 4 people. The owner, Jennifer, was wonderful to work with. She made sure everything was perfect for our group and even had coffee, bottled water and snacks in the unit. The property has a small patio area with grass that's fenced in which worked great for our dog. There are lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby. It's close to the mountains with easy access to hiking trails and easy access to I-70 if you want to head up for a day of skiing. We highly recommend the property and will definitely stay there again if we're in the area.

Perfect "Golden" retreat

Can you say Hospitality! The owner was outside when we arrived & was very sweet & helpful. This cozy 2 bedroom does not look or feel like a basement. It is very modern & super quiet(you don't even know there is a family living upstairs). They had an assortment of starter toiletries, k-cups/coffee & teas & some snacks avail (which is a pleaser for a 12 yr old) upon arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked. The private entrance & driveway parking is a bonus. The fenced in backyard is cozy & nice for pets & coffee/ drinks. We walked to a skate park/playground not far away & there are several restaurants/ breweries within walking distance or a 5 minute drive. There is so much to do within a 15 minute drive: Quaint downtown Golden, Genesee Park, Lookout Mountain, A Dinosaur trail & Beautiful Red Rocks (which we enjoyed a fabulous show). Denver is about a 30 minute drive. The 11am check out time is great to not feel rushed! I will definitely be back & recommend checking this place out!
