Our stay was so comfortable and easy. The house is lovely including comfortable beds, sitting areas and nice kitchen. Plenty of towels and sheets. Nice walk to main part of town if you don’t mind the hills, which we enjoyed. Easy and prompt communication with host.
We loved our stay here! So close to everywhere you need to go but far enough away for some peace. The house was well appointed and would definitely return!
Stayed with my family for the holiday weekend and the first home game. The house is fantastic! Great location and the backyard was awesome. Can’t wait to stay here again!
We had an amazing time in Boone. The house is perfect and we will definitely be going back. We had six adults and it was extremely comfortable for all of us. It was also very easy getting to downtown Boone. The outdoor amenities are also really great. We enjoyed everything about this house.
We all loved our stay here. It was super cute, super clean, well appointed… they thought of everything. The location was great too. We plan to look for availability here first next time we visit Boone. It was the perfect place to make some memories before moving our son into his dorm at App. So grateful we found this place.
Loved this perfect house for our App State football weekend! So much sleeping room - plenty big for our family of 6 and room for more. Beds were so comfortable and everything was sparkling clean and well appointed. A sweet welcome basket with makings for s’mores and snacks topped it off. We loved it and will be back for another game!
We rented this house for homecoming this year and it was perfect! Very clean, nice layout for a group of friends, and a good location. My only regret is that we didn’t take advantage of the backyard. They provided a fire pit with an ample amount of wood that would make the perfect fall evening. 10/10 would recommend this listing.
This house was perfect! There was everything we needed and then some! Snacks, toiletries, fire wood, etc. We would definitely recommend and will likely book again!
Two couples who’ve known each other since college decided to enjoy a long weekend in Boone for the App State versus JMU game. We relaxed on the deck, had a bonfire after the game, and enjoyed the peacefulness of this home. We marveled at how perfectly placed it was. Comfortable with 2 king beds, and a large couch to watch a movie in.
Great location to experience Boone (on a football weekend)
We were lucky to have found this house so close to App State and Boone. We were in town for the busiest football weekend ever experienced which allowed us to not have do deal with the logistical challenges others faced. The walk wasn't easy but it was doable and better than the alternative! Owner was very responsive to requests and I highly recommend renting this house.

About the host

I love traveling and staying at new places while living in Asheville I started visiting Boone with my family for our own getaways. I fell in love with the Mountains. Boone seemed like a hidden gem not yet discovered where you could breath in the fresh air & enjoy the natural beauty around. After several years of visiting, my family is excited now to have a place of our own there that we can share with others.
Why they chose this property
The location of this property gives the feeling of being in the mountain without being in an isolated area. Within minutes you can be downtown strolling King Street, and can quickly go out or get food delivered from the surrounding restaurants. The location being in between Blowing Rock & Sugar Mountain means you can get to both with a 15-20 minute drive. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area with a paved road that can still be easily driven on during the winter months. Drive or walk up Stadium Drive (keep in mind the walk will be hilly) and get a breathtaking view of the stadium from up above settled within the Mountains.
