The cottage was spacious and comfortable for the two of us and our dog. We loved having a private, fenced space for our dog to romp in. Only wish it was warm enough to swim-the pool looked so inviting. It was a great place to stay for one night on route from Florida to Maryland. The host was responsive to messaging and it was easy to check in. I would stay there again, anytime!
This is our second stay here traveling to/from FL. Easy access to hwy, check in process is easy with a private fenced yard and beautiful pool. Neighborhood has sidewalks for taking a stroll.
We just needed a place to stay for the evening. It was convenient to the hwy and a cute cottage. We were not there during daylight but the pool area appeared well kept and would be enjoyed on a nice day.
This place was great for the dogs for an overnight stop so they could walk around and play after being in the car all day. When I opened the door there was a strong musty smell, but I was able to open the windows and air it out. The bed is EXTREMELY soft, I woke up at one point and could feel the wood slats from the frame. The neighborhood was quiet and safe which was more enjoyable than being on a hotel right off of 95.
While easily accessible from i95, the cottage is tucked away in a nice, quiet neighborhood. After a long day on the road, it was great to be able to take my dog for a long walk down peaceful streets. The cottage itself is very comfortable, and the backyard is a great hangout! My dog got all her zoomies out back there, while I relaxed on the patio. The host, Rory, was responsive & very helpful. Would stay here again!
First one checking in, we could not get through the gate. It turns out that you needed to pull a knob that was not obvious to open the gate. Then we got in the property username and password for the Wi-Fi were incorrect and we had to contact the owner for that, I feel the owner needs to go through the property. Make sure things are correct. The batteries in the big remote for the TV were dead, but the bed was comfortable. My dogs were happy and that’s.
We were looking for a cozy place to stay as a stopover on our way to Florida. This cottage was perfect for us. Conveniently located off of I-95, it was easy to access. Nice, off-street parking. Cute lights around the property for ambience at night. Fenced yard with room for the dogs. Thoughtfully decorated inside and had all the necessities and amenities. The interior is well structured, giving it a roomy feel. And, the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, location
Grateful but not clean
I’m so grateful for having somewhere to stay while we evacuated from hurricane Milton. Absolutely perfect for me, husband and our 2 dogs. Fully fenced and secure. Bigger space than it looks! Pretty comfortable bed. There is a cat (and much is mentioned in listing) that lives there or a stray? Very chill cat with my dogs who aren’t around cats. I felt bad my dogs wouldn’t leave it alone, but so chill and everything was fine.
I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals and this place was just unclean. So grateful for somewhere to stay but I spent 5 hours cleaning walls, shutters, surfaces and some of the bathroom. Everything was coated in thick dust and cat hair. Literally cat hair balls stuck to the walls and ceilings. Just needs to be professionally cleaned.
Great communication with host overall and very kind. I didn’t say anything about the cleanliness because I felt very lucky to have somewhere to stay during the hurricane. Thank you for everything but I had to be honest here about the cleanliness. It would be great if there were more kitchen items to use and fresh coffee pods. Coffee pods and coffee items were covered in sticky dust so we didn’t have any. Really could be an amazing private place with some cleaning! The pool is great and they have a whole set up of little lights that turn on automatically at night which is really cute! Tiny tiny town- no resources close and very few options to find food, plus no stove. Sorry but thank you!!!
Property was very well maintained. Comfortable, relaxing and very private. The pool was awesome! Nice setup! We brought a small portable grill with us. Poolside grilling is the way to go. Couples and a small family will love this private. oasis
The pool house is a super cute little place. I lived the pool area and the nature all around. It was clean, had everything we needed and close to everything. We enjoyed the pool, shopping at the antique store a mile down the road, Charleston and Folly Beach is an hour drive, Tanger Outlet is also an hour away. So much to do!
also is also about an hour away.
Amazing spot for a stop over while moving my dogs from the Midwest to Florida. The pool and backyard were spacious and tons of seating and pool floats. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.
Loved it! Private pool for us and the dog in a fully fenced and beautifully landscape yard equals happiness! We had great peaceful night breaking from our traveling. Took the dog and walked to dinner on the nice patio at Bistro 221. Food there was great. Shower is small if you are a big person (over 6' tall &/or morbidly obese) but the showerhead is able to be handheld sprayer so that helps a lot. I did get frightened by a palmetto bug in the cabinet but we know they are unavoidable thing in this area! Very friendly cat always on our porch... even our dog made fast friends with it (but she has two cat brothers so that might not go as well for all dogs). Definitely recommend and hope to stay again sometime we are in the area!
My wife and I loved this place. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful nighttime lighting. The pool was wonderful and the fenced in yard made life with our two dogs wonderful. Also a great neighborhood for a walk with the dogs
This cottage was charming & comfortable! We had enough room to spread out and relax. The pool area is beautiful and serene. Definitely staying there again!
The home was perfect for us. Dog friendly, nice fenced in back yard, and a nice interior as well. Our only real issue was with the water pressure in the shower, it was extremely low but okay with the toilet and sinks. We would definitely stay again.
