Great find--highly recommend especially if you have pets! Large kitchen w/ plenty of counter space, and fully stocked with cookware; gas stove, microwave, and large fridge were perfect for our needs. Quiet neighborhood; large yard with fire pit and amenities. Short walk to beach. Highly recommend!
Great pet friendly option allowing all family members to enjoy vacation. Lots of room.CLEAN and well maintained. Close to the water everyone we came in contact with around the neighborhood were really nice quick response from owners .look forward to going back
Seven of us went up and stayed here for a few days and loved our time. It was quiet and chill, and close enough to enjoy a few walks along the lake. Everything was very clean, sheets were comfy and spotless. Great memories, and a fantastic place to get away for a few nights. Would definitely come back and recommend this stay!
The cabin is very nice and clean with lots of space for a small group. The only critiques I have are the bathroom seems to have some plumbing issues as the water pressure difference between the bathroom and kitchen is very noticeable, but it is still functional so no big deal. The cabin is very close to other properties, but we stayed in the late winter/early spring so no one was around.
It is very very close to a boat launch for Higgins lake (really within walking), very clean and comfortable with most amenities, and is a great little place.
Highly recommend!
My husband and I wanted a little getaway and we we are so happy we chose this place. ❤️ The house was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need. Communication with property owner was great! We will be renting again next time we want to get away!
We loved our stay. I will say I was a little concerned when we turned down the street. The road was rough as were some of the homes. But the house was super clean and nice inside. It fit the 10 of us (2 families) great! The toys and video games were a great hit for the kids. We also enjoyed walking down to the lake gor the sunset most nights. I think a couple fans in the bedrooms and a clothesline outside for wet towels and swimsuits could be very helpful.
The cottage was the perfect getaway. It has a stocked kitchen and all the conveniences you'd need! My college kids joined me for the first two days. We went for long walks, played board games and had meals together. Loved the kitchen! I spent two quiet days on my own, just reflecting and enjoying the peace. My sisters joined me for a girls weekend for the last two days and we had a ball shopping in town, dinner at Fred's (I'm a total foodie and that's a must do-the food is amazing), and just playing cards. It was the first vacation I've ever taken when I didn't feel like I needed a vacation when I got home. I still feel all the better for my time there!
