The space
Feel like the king or queen of your castle while you stay at the very top of this spacious loft. The Honey barn has a history as unique as the space. There is an elevator you will see where you are staying, but its for looks only. This historically reformed building has a past as an actual honey processing location and also as a hostel to weary travelers at one point in time, thus the unique bathroom layout of 3 doors, 2 with a toilet and one that holds a shower. Organic non toxic queen savvy rest latex pillow top mattress for your safety and comfort. Organic highly rated towels also available for your use.
Guest access
Personal key code issued to guests before arrival. Self check in. Keep ascending the stairs to the top. There is also a small deck. If you need to do laundry during your stay, you will go all the way down the stairs to the basement, where you will find a washer and dryer for your convenience... and also a built in workout as you make your way down and back up again.
Other things to note
If stairs or heights are not your thing, then this charming place would be best suited for others. If you are claustrophobic, then you will love the space! WiFi available and Roku and Amazon Prime for other shows.

Relaxing

Close to everything we wanted to do. Very unique and quiet. Very nice not to have to bring alot of "stuff " because everything was provided.

Fun unique place with attentive hosts

So grateful for Honey’s help making this property work well for our family. They gave my uncle a tour ahead of our stay at our request, and then they provided a pack’n’play and some kids toys/books that I don’t think are typically part of this listing. It made a difference! Thanks! The stairs at the entry are a little difficult for kids to navigate, and a little rickety, but the hosts were very honest about it upfront and it worked fine for our family in the end because we could make sure the kids stayed away from there when coming/going and they still had plenty of space to play. Loved the unique decor. We were playing “find the bee-themed items” all week, and continually surprised. It’s one big room, “studio” layout. We thought this would be a downside but it ended up being awesome to see the kids playing across the room from the kitchen, on the porch, etc. We had to stay quiet during naps but used a loud sound machine to help. Appreciated the kitchen amenities, just enough for us. The shower was a little small, and for the baby we missed not having a bathtub, but we made it work. Thanks for the great stay!
