We were very pleased with the location of the home. The property seemed to be well maintained and accomodating. The only downfall was that it seemed very pricey for the time of year
We had a great stay. The only problem is that most of the seating was very cheap. We were afraid that we would break it, so we ended up not using most of the chairs.
House was in a great neighborhood! Nicely decorated and suited our needs. Owner was polite and when I needed assistance getting in the door.

Two bedroom home - not Three
Easy location to get to the Navy base. Lots of hot water. Easy check in. It wasn’t clean enough, and there were no top sheets on the beds. The furniture was cheap/uncomfortable/two chairs were broken. I really wanted to like it. It was nice to have a home the day my son was graduating.
This was the perfect place to stay while we attended our grandson’s graduation from Navy boot camp. The neighborhood was beautiful with the trees in brilliant fall colors. We even had a light dusting of snow one day. Our host was very accommodating to all my questions.
The home is wonderful! The manager was amazing when it came to communication. I feel that he is trying to figure out a good cleaning/maintenance crew that can support his expectations. Definitely would recommend!!
We drove up from NC to meet a friend who flew in from Sweden to run the Chicago marathon. This property was a great place in the suburbs, away from the hustle and bustle of town.

This duplex was perfect for my three sons and myself. We stayed five days to attend one of my son’s Navy Graduation! House was very clean and modern. Had everything we needed, was a nice neighborhood, quiet neighbors? Close to everywhere we needed to go. Only suggestion would be to have the owners secure the rugs, they are very slippery.

Incomplete Flip Job
The location of this home is great. The home itself was shabby: wobbly furniture, dirty floors, a lot of random junk in closets, sheets with hair in them, uncovered mattresses, an old HVAC system, overgrown plants at the entrance, and so on, missing paint on walls. It feels like an incomplete flip job of a space that still needs a professional finish to be an appropriate rental space.
The property was very cute and had plenty of space with a nice outdoor area even though we did not get to use it due to the weather. The property had a lot of potential. However, the screen door had the door knob not fixed and the property was dirty. There was hair on the floors and in the bathroom. The vents were dirty as well as some of the other areas.
If I could leave a zero-star rating, I absolutely would.
Let me start with the single positive: the location was ideal. But beyond that, the entire experience was deeply disappointing. After driving 13 hours to see my firstborn graduate from basic training, we arrived exhausted, only to find we couldn’t access the property. The entry codes the host provided simply didn’t work. Initially, the host suggested various “fixes,” asking us to try multiple combinations and methods, but none of it worked. Eventually, the host suggested we go out for dinner with family, reassuring us they would cover the cost and resolve the issue while we were out.
After two hours, we returned, hopeful we’d be able to get inside and finally rest. But nothing had been fixed; we were still locked out in the cold, late at night, with nowhere to go. Finally, the host admitted they couldn’t resolve the issue right away and told us to get a hotel for the night, promising to cover the cost and offering a single night’s refund for the inconvenience.
By Thursday morning, we finally accessed the property, only to discover it was even worse than expected. Past guests’ reviews were spot-on: the home is not as advertised. It’s only a two-bedroom house, and everything inside feels cheap, worn out, and barely holding together. For a trip that should have been filled with pride and joy, dealing with this fiasco.

Missing, Broken and Filthy
Broken toilet seats, no grill or patio furniture, broken kitchen bench for table, no dressers or shelves to store clothes. Closets filled with owners storage. Non-working smoke or c/o detectors, broken kitchen shelf, old food in cabinets, black mold in sliding door track in kitchen, clogged filter for A/C/furnace. Live wires at front door where doorbell removed. Floors filthy, oven filthy, washing & dryer filthy. Bathtub gross. Backs on all living room chairs broken. No working TV in main bedroom. Garage was not useable since it was filled with junk. The 'host' Sadat, visited the house and agreed it was not livable and he would not stay there. He also agreed to refund our money but that has not happened. In my opinion that house was neither safe or healthy to stay in.
I wish this site would allow me to post pictures. should also mention, broken light fixture, non working faucet, moldy siding.

At first glance, it looks clean!
Items in closets weren't neat and organized. There had been items like sugar, seasonings, etc., left by previous stays that had not been removed. I'm sure I wasn't the first person charged a fee for cleaning. However, when I walked in, there was a spider in just about every corner. That shows me that there may be lots a space between each stay and the money ISN'T being spent on cleaning. Someone should come in at least the day before and give a quick check or clean. I did let the owner know that the coffee maker did not work properly. They did apologize. However, once I let them know about other issues, they stopped responding.
