This unit, recently remodeled, is in the basement of our 127 year old Victorian home. It has its own separate entry through the backyard.

Sunny garden-level apartment in the heart of one of Chicago's nicest neighborhoods, Lincoln Square. Includes one bedroom w/queen-size bed, living room, exercise room w/treadmill, breakfast bar w/sink, mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker, full bath, private entry, plus use of the full back yard. In under 10 minutes, walk to the Damen brown line (will take you directly downtown in 30 minutes), Old Town School of Folk Music, Davis Theater and almost 50 restaurants! A foodie's paradise!

Perfect Location!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful basement unit - it had everything we needed plus extras! The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Their restaurant recommendations were helpful, the drinks and snacks were a nice touch and very appreciated, and all the furniture was comfortable! The location is within easy walking distance to the “L,” Lincoln Square, and many restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Loyola Family Weekend Stay

Very enjoyable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time visiting Chicago and staying in this apartment. Owners were very kind and easy to work with, property was as described and very clean. Easy commute to the “L” train from the property and lots of options within walking distance for food and shopping. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little gem in the city

What a wonderful stay! I came for work and will definitely try to stay here again. Owners were very thoughtful and friendly. Grounds are beautiful in a very safe neighborhood in Chicago. Restaurants are all in walking distance with lots of options. The rental was very clean and well maintained. The house is quaint with lots of charm. Added treadmill is a bonus, but no time to use it this trip. Love the option for winter. Nothing except compliments from me.

Great stay for a Cubs game

We were in town to see our favourite team play against the Cubs, and this property was perfect! It was very easy to get to Wrigleyville and surrounding areas from this unit. The hosts were very helpful and communicative, and the apartment is clean, cosy, comfortable and up-to-date. I also loved having a treadmill for a couple of morning runs.

My husband and I wanted to stay in a quiet neighborhood where we could walk to eateries, groceries, parks, and our nieces home. This property was all that plus more. Parking was easy, and we had plenty of room for our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely rental in Chicago!

We needed a place near Ravenswood/Lincoln Square to be close to family and found this place to be perfect! The rental space was very nicely decorated and had great amenities. Street parking was fabulous! The access to the unit via the backyard was via a lovely little garden oasis. I would recommend this VRBO!

Lincoln Square Apartment

This is a lovely garden apartment. Only a few steps to enter. Unit was clean and well supplied as per the posting. We did not plan on cooking while there, so the fact that there were no pots and pans, or cookware items was not a problem. Really appreciated the security lighting when returning to the unit after dark. Landlord very responsive.

Beautiful place in a great neighborhood

We loved staying here for a long weekend in October. The place itself is a very up-to-date, nicely designed garden unit in a great old house in a walkable, beautiful and quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of on-street parking, which can sometimes be an issue in central Chicago but not here. The owners were very responsive, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent property

Our youngest lives in the area and we wanted to stay nearby while we had a long visit. The Blue House fit the bill perfectly! Great accommodations, location is wonderful, and owners are good communicators. We didn’t need anything all during our stay.

Very nice stay

The lower level set of rooms was very comfortable, well appointed, and well provisioned. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the Lincoln Square neighborhood, and the location was also good for going downtown and getting to activities in the northern suburbs.

The Blue House - ChiTown

The owners were so gracious and always looked out for us from how to get to the L, to being there if we needed anything, at anytime. First time doing a VRBO did not disappoint. So glad it was with the "Blue House." Great location, great everything!!!
