Great location

Adorable tiny house, close to the Tuscaloosa downtown and stadium, but away from the congestion and traffic. Host thought of everything needed and provided all the comforts of home.

A perfect place

I stayed here for 13 nights during my final days at the University of Alabama and it was the perfect place to stay! Less than 10 minutes from campus, 4 minutes to the grocery store, quiet, and so comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying here

Tiny House Visit

We enjoyed our time here! It was a first for our family of 4 staying in a tiny house and attending our first BAMA game! We loved it! It was just what we needed! Super nice hosts, clean, and we had plenty of space! Thank you so much! We can't wait to come back!

About the host

Hello! I’m from Birmingham, Alabama. I went to The University of Alabama before moving to Waynesville, NC where I met my partner Kristi. We moved back to Northport in the fall of 2020 for work. I’m a thru-hiker and long distance runner. All of my free time is spent running or in our garden.

Why they chose this property

When my partner Kristi and I bought our house in spring of 2021, we had the idea of renovating this old building in the backyard into a tiny space to share . Shortly after looking more inside the building, talking with our new neighbors and doing some research on our own. We realized this was a old grocery store from the 40's and 50's.

Kristi's brother and dad, both carpenters from NY, came down to help us with the renovations. We are so excited to share the history of this historic building and let people experience tiny living in this renovated grocery store.
