Wonderful lake house with everything you need including a beautiful view of the water. Very large kitchen looking out towards the lake which we loved. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return when the warm weather does as well.
What a wonderful little lake house! The host has thoughtfully provided all needed linens, towels, and paper products. The cottage was spotless upon check-in. Water kayaks and water toys were available, as was a gas grill. The view out the glass doors facing the lake was stunning! I could see fish jumping at the end of the dock. I was amused at the sight of a water skier at 0730 in the morning, but the lake was like glass so I can't blame them. Great spot for a small family or couple seeking a romantic getaway.
Nice cozy cabin on the lake.excellent access to brighton and surrounding area ( ann arbor area) excellent communication with host access to toys for the lake,( kayaks ,paddleboards) overall great spot for U ofM sports or just a relaxing time on the water. Highly recommend! Thanks for everything Mark.
Booked late August when it wasnt too hot outside but the beach area and shallow water around the dock felt great, and very clean! The house was also very clean and updated. Quiet area considering there are plenty of stores and restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend for a group of 4 or 5 for a fun weekend.
It was a great place to stay to have a fun time on the lake all day. Grill at night and even have a fire and roast marshmellows. It came with 2 kayaks, paddle boat and a paddle board for lake fun!
Beautiful view with sandy lake. Mark was a great host, answered very quickly and helped us with all of our issues. He was quick to offer solutions when we the house lost power, due to the storms, and the house was filled with endless amenities. Paddleboat was very fun to use and life jackets were available, which was very useful for safety. In all, would definitely come back again!
The house is very clean and updated. Big window views with a short walk to the water and dock. Fishing was awesome! We caught two 5-6 lb bass right past the dock using the paddle boat and my granddaughter caught a lot of little fish right off the dock. Mark is a great host with quick response to any communication. My only reason for not a total 5 star for all is that I was hoping for a swimming lake right in front. However, we found Bishop Lake Beach and Jump Island just minutes away.
