Nice place

We have friends that have a Lakehouse nearby. We were invited with a large group and it was not comfortable for all of us to stay at their house so we leased this VRBO in the area. We were able to have a nice place to stay, have coffee in the morning, and shower with the ease of a 10 minute drive to the Lakehouse. The property was also very clean and quiet.

Nice Clean Small Cabin

The cabin was clean and very nice for what it is. Full kitchen with dishes. Nice sitting areas inside and out. Only issues we had was the charging plugs. There are two cabins plus a camper being rented on this property. There aren’t enough plugs to accommodate all of them and the main issue is they are not 110 volt plugs. They are camper plugs, luckily one of the other tenants had an adapter and we had a 3-way plug to make it work. All in all I would stay again, but the charging issue is a major concern being a lake cabin.

Serene

This was such an awesome stay! The home had everything we needed to have a stress free weekend, out in the country and relax. You do have a bit of a walk to the house from the parking area (not a big deal but it is on uneven ground) and also a very very steep walk down to the water side. This is just for others information. Not a complaint from me! In case you have elderly or not as mobile guests. The two units are so super cute and it looks like more might come in the future! Just a wonderful place to stay and we will 100% be back!

Nice property

Nice property and cabins. Nicely decorated, new and very nice buildings, and has all the amenities you'd like. Water access is good, but if water is down it might be too shallow. Great area, easy to access. The hill down to the water is steep, so be aware and plan accordingly. Best ramp is Shirley Creek - GPS might tell you to turn right out of property to get there - don't, it is a dirt road with lots of loose, deep sandy areas. Go back to 103 and proceed from there.

Charming and Clean Weekend Lake Cottage

Beautifully decorated and very clean cottage. Small space but everything was in place and everything you could possibly need. Host was very responsive through the app and check-in and check-out was very easy. The outdoor area was also very well thought out. Great property and we would definitely stay again!

Welcome To La Dolce Vita Cabins

We are the Ravare's. We have been married for 31 years and for as long as we can remember we have dreamed of owning our very own LAKE FRONT PROPERTY.
We have spent the last eight months building these beautiful cabins, not only for our family to enjoy, but for your friends and family too! We hope that during your stay you will experience true joy, peace and tranquility, which are some of the things we love most about escaping to the beautiful Lake Sam Rayburn!

Why they chose this property

The property is nestled in the piney woods of east Texas on Lake Sam Rayburn. The first time we visited the lake in 2018, we fell in love with its beauty, the calmness of the water, the serene surroundings and the small town feel of the area surrounding the cabins. We love to boat and fish and this is truly a boaters paradise! We feel blessed to be able to share this little slice of paradise with you!

What makes this property unique

Texas Parks and wildlife rates the fishing excellent year-round for largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish on Lake Sam Rayburn.

There are many cute and quaint little towns around Lake Sam Rayburn, including Lufkin, Huntington, Zavalla on the west side of the lake; and Woden, Etoile, Chireno and Broaddus on the east side of the lake.

Visitors to the area can enjoy dining at the local restaurants in the towns and shopping for antiques, gifts and clothing, etc. in nearby towns. During certain times of the year, you can enjoy the festivals and arts, craft shows that are held throughout the year in each town.

There are three boat launch sites withing 8 miles of the Cabins; Shirley Creek Marina is 8 miles away; Ralph McAllister Park is 3 miles away and Etoile Park is 7 Miles away.
