Great location and great views

We had a wonderful time checking out the Kenai peninsula while home-based at this property. The home was everything we expected and read online and in the previous reviews. Should we come back to the Soldotna area with a large group, we'll definitely book this one again!

Awesome house

Beautiful house with great view of the lake. Actually 2 houses so lots of room for friends. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen. The s'mores kit they had as a welcome gift was a special surprise. Close to stores and restaurants in Soldotna. Would highly recommend this property.

Family Reunion

Rainy dismal weather didn't keep us from enjoying our time. Wish there had been lamps in the bedrooms for reading and mirrors as well. Everything else was great !

Fabulous Peaceful Peninsula

The Peaceful Peninsula on Sports Lake was fabulous and easily rated more than 5 stars! It was the perfect setting for our party of 9 adults and 5 kids covering 3 generations. The’ littles’ loved the beach area, complete with host provided sand toys and small life jackets while their parents enjoyed amenities like the hot tub and well supplied kitchen, space to spread out and obvious attention to the needs of kid’s. S’mores supplies, sticks and firewood a very welcoming touch. The grandparents just enjoyed being able to have everyone together with comfortable beds, everything clean and well organized. Even an extra freezer for the fish we caught! We would most highly recommend this to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat Sally

Soldotna

It was clean and well furnished. A very nice and peaceful setting. A little disappointed with the sleeping arrangements. Supposed to sleep 18. We had 12 adults and it was a challenge. The four bedrooms with queens took care of eight of us. Were only able to use the bottom bunks in the other two bedrooms. Top bunks and L shaped bunks only good for six year olds. The hot tub was nice and worked well. It had a nice fire pit with plenty of firewood. The sauna was unusable.

My name is Zach, and with my wife, Erica, we love to travel and enjoy new experiences all over the world. We stay very busy with our large family of seven! We split our time living in Arizona, Mexico, Alaska, and several different locations on the East Coast. I run several businesses that I am very passionate about, including restaurants, entertainment, and insurance. Erica graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in business tourism and obsesses over our vacation rental properties, and is always striving to provide the best experience. We understand what it's like to travel with a large group, so we try to be as accommodating and understanding as possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible!

Why they chose this property

This is a one-of-a-kind property. It sits uniquely by the lake on its own peninsula, which doesn't make you feel like you are crammed next to any neighbors. You truly have all the coastline around the property to yourself. The property is also close to everything. If you need to run to town, you are only a couple of minutes away, but it also feels like you are in remote Alaska.

What makes this property unique

Fishing on the lake is superb, with rainbow trout and coho salmon. This property also offers two separate cabins so you have plenty of room to spread out!
