Retreat to this Hidden Cabin in the Yadkin Valley

Welcome to Crossing Prosperity Cabin! A beautiful rustic cabin nestled along the West Prong of the Roaring River with 50 acres to explore and find space away from the hustle and bustle of life. Located in the heart of the Yadkin Valley wine country, minutes from several wineries and Stone Mountain National Park, historic Wilkesboro and within an hour from Boone and North Charlotte, this private sanctuary offers plenty of room to relax away from it all.

You will find all you need to sit back and enjoy the great outdoors at our hidden gem in the woods. Arriving at the cabin you will find an expansive front porch perfect for listening to the river down below and the sounds of nature all around you. Downstairs includes 2 full bedrooms, a full bathroom and fully stocked kitchen, laundry room and living room with gas fireplace. The loft upstairs has an additional 2 bedrooms and half bathroom. There is a great firepit down by the river with chairs and a grill in the shed by the driveway for cooking out. Spring and Summer months can be spent cooling off and playing in the water, the fall is beautiful with the leaves changing and the perfect crisp mornings and evenings and winter surrounds you with some much-needed peace and quiet or a great place to gather for the holidays.

PETS NEED PRIOR APPROVAL and agreement to our pet policy. You must send us a message if you are bringing a pet and will need to pay a pet fee.

The rates and availability on this listing are for the rental of the cabin for residential/vacation purposes ONLY. At this time, we are not renting the space for weddings or other events, but if interested in that please reach out as that is a hope for the near future. This would not be through VRBO and would include additional fees and a contract/agreement.

No firearms are to be used on the property. No recreational vehicles to include 4-Wheelers, Dirt Bikes & Side by Sides are to be used on the property. No hunting of any form on our property is allowed.

* The parking area is monitored 24/7 by a single security camera to ensure it is available for guests. No other cameras are on the property.

Weekend Getaway

Wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed everything about it. The only thing is that if it rains follow the directions provided in welcome letter. The driveway is steep. Other than that the place is very comfortable and the owners of the property were very easy to reach and respond very quickly with any questions.

Awesome family get away

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. It was so peaceful, so much to do outdoors with the creek and all the land around it. For the rainy days, they had the cabin fully stocked with four games adult games.It was just a wonderful time with our family.We will definitely be returning for more vacations here

Secluded cabin

The cabin was nice and clean and very private. My children enjoyed playing in the creek that is on the property. If I had any complaints at all it would be the cabin needs a little more light inside. We were in town for a dance competition but would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area.

Surrounded by quiet and nature

This was just what the dr ordered. My family and I, three generations, were able to truly unwind and relax. The creek is so wide with a delightful swimming hole, s’mores and shish kabobs on the fire pit, darts on the amazing front porch, immersed in the forest and birdsong. Super private and secure with the gated entrance at the top of the long driveway. Loads of ripe wine berries along the driveway. And that creek.. that big bold creek. Thank you for the respite.. we made some lovely memories.

Out of town work

We were in town for work but the cabin we stayed in was outstanding. Very quiet and relaxing after a day of work. Large porch overlooking several creeks and a river. Plenty of towels, blankets and sheets. Everything you needed to cook with. We stayed for 24 days and would highly recommend. 30 minutes from our jobsite but worth the ride everyday. The hosts were also amazing

Family Get-together

We came to the cabin for a family Christmas get-together. There was plenty of room and supplies for our big group. The road up to the cabin can be a little daunting, but there is little reason to go up and down while you are there. It was very relaxing and would love to stay again!

Relaxing Family Vacation!

We loved this spot for our family get together! Our fly fishers had a blast casting in the stream and our wine drinkers enjoyed the variety of vineyards in the area. It was amazing! As they say in the description, the stairs to the upstairs are steep but it worked fine for our group. Loved playing darts on the porch and listening to the creek below. Very well stocked and a perfect fit for our needs :)

Great place to get away

Property was clean and inviting. Great place for peace and tranquility. The veiw overlooking the creek below from the deck was so pretty. If you are seeking rest and relaxation this is the place for you. It was a wonderful place to get away from it all. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful modern cabin

This is a wonderful cabin on a hill in the woods. Beautiful view from the front porch where we spent lots of time. It has all the amenities while feeling rustic. We loved floating in the river and playing in the stream. A couple things to note that aren’t clear from the pictures: the two bedrooms in the upstairs loft don’t have doors to shut. Also, the fire pit is down the hill and not really close to the house. We really enjoyed this property and exploring the Stone Mountain state park close by. Definitely recommend! Meagan is super prompt in all her communication and a very helpful host.
