Description:

Be our guests at this spacious 2-bedroom townhouse, centrally located and close to everything in the heart of Myrtle Beach! Just a short walk to the beach and close to shopping, dining, and entertaining! This 2 bedroom townhome is perfect for a small family, couples, or friends. Features include a semi-enclosed patio, full kitchen, and wood laminate floors throughout. Cool off in the community pool if you are not playing on the beach! Parking for 2 vehicles permitted.


The Space:

Enter the home and enjoy clean walls, fresh paint, and new stock items throughout! Tastefully decorated, this home is brand new to Airbnb in June of 2022. It is equipped with a cozy couch, an extra large TV for everyone to enjoy, a comfy counter height dining table for 4 and semi-private backyard patio. You’ll also find just about everything you need to whip up a great meal in the full-sized kitchen.

***Please note: This is a townhome with steps that lead up to both bedrooms, and may not be the place for you if steps are a problem.

Bedroom 1 faces the rear of the unit with a king-sized ultra plush bed, room darkening shades and a private smart TV.

Bedroom 2 faces the front of the unit (where you’ll park your car) and features 2 twin sized beds, room darkening shades and a private smart TV.

Both bedrooms share a full hallway bath with extra large tub.

A half-bath is located on the main level, as is the washer/dryer you’ll have unlimited access to during your stay.

For groups traveling with more than 4 guests, there is an air mattress that can be set up on the main level. Please note that bedding is not provided by the host for the air mattress.


Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire townhome, 2 parking spaces directly in front, and the community pool.


Other Details:

This is not a party house, we do not allow underage drinking, drug use or smoking inside the unit. Our goal as Airbnb hosts is to approve guests who want to relax with family and/or friends without causing disruption within the community or among neighboring units. By avoiding “party groups” we are able to host future guests who can feel confident that we have taken the proper steps to ensure a clean and hospitable environment.

Neighborhood Description:

Located blocks to the beach and central to many of Myrtle Beach’s premier tourist attractions, this townhome is situated immediately along the west side of Highway 17, the main strip that runs through the entire beach. You’ll have quick and easy access to the highway, yet you’re tucked back far enough from the road that you won’t even notice it’s there.

Walk to nearby restaurants, shopping, putt putt or the beach!


Getting Around:

You will have 1 dedicated parking space for your stay, and another “shared” space. Spaces are numbered per unit, so if bringing more than one vehicle, simply look for the unnumbered spaces.

*NO PARTIES/EVENTS/MEETINGS INSIDE THE HOME, ETC (hosts live nearby, do NOT book or inquire if this is your intention)

*THE RESERVATION HOLDER MUST BE 25 YEARS OLD AND PRESENT AT THE HOME (booking on behalf of someone else is prohibited)

*ALL GUESTS MUST EXCHANGE MESSAGES WITH HOSTS BEFORE BOOKING (we like to get to know our guests to ensure we host quality groups who will treat our property with respect)

*HOST RESERVES THE RIGHT TO VERIFY ID'S OF ALL GUESTS IN THE HOME AT ANY TIME UPON REQUEST

*NO UNREGISTERED/UNDECLARED VISITORS ALLOWED ON OR INSIDE THE HOME AT ANY TIME (for insurance reasons, only guests who are declared prior to arrival will be allowed in this vacation rental)

*UP TO 2 DOGS ALLOWED FOR $125 FEE to be paid PRIOR to arrival. Combined weight of dogs must total 75lbs or less.

*BATH TOWELS ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY. THEY ARE NOT TO BE USED AS BEACH TOWELS, ETC

*QUIET HOURS FROM 9PM-8AM (maintaining the peace with our neighbors and our reputation within the community is a high priority- guests causing disturbances will be asked to leave the property immediately, forfeiting the reservation, and will not be eligible for a refund). Please use common sense when utilizing the outdoor space- you will be in close proximity to neighbors- voices carry. The interior walls are also shared with neighbors.

*NO SMOKING/VAPING/DRUGS/UNDERAGE DRINKING OF ANY KIND ON OR INSIDE THE PROPERTY (we reserve the right to remove your entire group immediately if we find this is happening during your stay)

*DO NOT LEAVE DOORS OPEN (it is a safety hazard and will cause moisture to build inside the home, which can result in mildew)

*GUESTS AGREE TO VACATE THE PROPERTY ON END DATE STATED ON RESERVATION. HOSTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REGAIN POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY THE SAME DAY. GUESTS WHO REFUSE TO VACATE THE PROPERTY BY CHECKOUT TIME WILL BE CONSIDERED TO BE TRESPASSING.

*GUESTS AGREE TO LOCK ALL DOORS WHEN LEAVING THE HOME FOR ANY REASON (Missing or damaged items will result in recovery fees billed to the reservation holder- protect your belongings and our property by making sure the doors are locked no matter what)


Interaction:

Apart from communication initiated by our guests, we will not interfere with your trip unless there is an urgent need or emergency. All communication will be handled on the Airbnb platform unless noted otherwise- we live nearby should anything need to be addressed. Please contact us immediately if there are any technical or maintenance issues.


House Manual:

Thank you for choosing our Spacious, Family & Dog Friendly unit within walking distance to the beach for your Myrtle Beach vacation! We are so excited to host you, and hope your group is able to create many lifelong memories while visiting.

A few things we must address:

This is not a party house, we do not allow underage drinking, drug use or smoking inside the unit. Our goal as Airbnb hosts is to approve guests who want to relax with family and/or friends without causing disruption within the community or among neighboring units. By avoiding “party groups” we are able to host future guests who can feel confident that we have taken the proper steps to ensure a clean and hospitable environment.

Please remove shoes and rinse sand from your feet prior to entering the unit- any “extra cleaning” to eliminate excessive sand, dirt and debris will result in an additional cleaning fee and a potential reflection in your guest review.

This unit is privately owned and not affiliated with any rental program; therefore all blankets, linens, towels, pillows, nicknacks, furniture, dishes and cookware in the home belong to the homeowner, and inventory will be taken upon check out... Please ensure you do not damage or accidentally take any of these comforts home with you. We provide enough towels for all guests for the duration of your stay, and there is a washing machine & dryer on-site should you need to launder these items.

Please contact us immediately with any maintenance, technical or plumbing issues. Guests who do not declare issues during their stay will assume the damages should anything need repaired or replaced after checkout.

Upon check out, we require the following as part of the departure checklist:

- Strip the used beds (we thoroughly wash all bedding between each reservation, to include sheets, pillow covers and blankets)

- Pile all used towels in the shower (all towels are washed in hot water and color-safe bleach between bookings)

- Gather all trash and have it bagged for easy removal (we provide trash bags)

- Any dirty dishes must be in the dishwasher with the cycle started before departure

- Please remember to take with you any food from the refrigerator, freezer or cabinets. If you will be getting on a plane and cannot take food or drinks with you, we will remove it from the unit.

-Let your host know you have vacated the property. Unless otherwise arranged beforehand, cleaners arrive promptly at 11am on checkout day to begin prepping for the next guests. Please do us the courtesy to let us know the door has been secured and the home is ready for turnover. Please note, the lockbox codes are changed frequently and security cameras are in place to prevent tampering with or entry without permission.

-Guests may request a later checkout. This request MUST be made at least 24 hours in advance. If we are able, we will allow an extra 30 minutes at no charge.

From Labor Day (first Monday of September) through Memorial Day (last Monday of May), guests may request a 3 pm checkout for an extra $30, or a 6pm checkout for $50, if there is not a same-day check in.

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, guests may request a 2pm checkout for $50, or a 5pm checkout for $75, if there is not a same-day check in.

The extra fees must be paid 24 hours in advance, otherwise the group agrees to vacate the property at the normal 10am checkout time.

Please acknowledge that "late checkouts" cannot be guaranteed, as we have many same-day turnovers, especially in the busy season. This is why we REQUIRE a 24 hour advanced request.

-Any personal items "left behind" will be stored for up to 24 hours before being discarded. Please let us know immediately if any of your items were forgotten. Anything appearing to be trash will be discarded immediately, so double check every drawer, nook and cranny before leaving :)

A good time

We were happy to stay and the family had a good time. You could tell that the property was constantly being maintained, as it was an older townhome. Everything was pretty clean and kept. Thanks again!

Good location

This rental served a purpose however it definitely needs some TLC. The volume of leaves on the porch and the condition of the cushions were not appealing. The ice maker does not work so we had to buy ice (not a huge deal however it was noted as broken by another reviewer prior to us). The shower “spout” is about to fall off and other “little” things that would have given this unit a better rating. (Fix door knobs, have proper wifi password listed etc. lastly they may want to invest in a new couch. The one in the unit is not very comfortable.

Walking Distance to Beach and Restaurants

Townhouse was very clean and comfortable within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. It was exactly as described and photos are accurate. I would stay here again.

A functional stay

This location was clean and nicely decorated. It was close to the beach and convenient to restaurants and stores. The front door was extremely difficult to open and close and I was traveling with my parents who were in their 80's. The refrigerator was in need of updating since it was missing the bottom rack on the door and the bottom drawers were cracked. We had an issue with the downstairs toilet leaking but the hosts responded and fixed the issue within a couple of hours. The back porch needed a little TLC since it was covered with leaves and the furniture needed some cleaning off. Overall the place met our needs and we enjoyed our vacation.

Complaints about our stay

The place was okay but we were not happy with several things. When we first got there we saw there was not a working ice maker and no ice trays. After having no success with getting the ice maker to work we had to go buy ice trays. We decided to watch some TV and none of the remotes worked. We replaced batteries and that wasn't the problem. My son was finally able to get a few stations on a phone app. There was no DVR so we went to buy one because it was constant rain. Hurricane Debby had stalled over us(totally not the fault of anyone) and it rained for 5 days. It would have been nice to at least have a DVR. Also, there wasn't many items for us. There was 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels so I had to go to Walmart to replace a lot. There were only 4 towels for 4 people so I had to do laundry constantly. (It stated that there were 5 people staying but we had only 4) My son had changed that right after we booked so I hope we weren't charged for 5. Maybe this is what is acceptable for you but not for us. In the past we have used Vacasa and have been pleased so we will stick with them.
