Great location and cabin for our family to utilize in our time in the area. Clean and had great amenties for use and plenty of space. Would stay again!
Could not have been any happier with our choice. Cabin was ideal for us and had everything we needed. Super clean and the location was great! Owner could not have been more friendly and accomodating!
We'll be back!
Very relaxing location! This home has everything you might possibly need while you are there! I have never stayed at a home with things the host provided! I can’t speak highly enough about the host. They checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed! A perfect stay!
Julien and his wife are the perfect hosts! They kept in contact, making sure we were okay and had what we needed. The home is well kept and well stocked, in a beautiful location. The beds were very comfy. We enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch in the morning, viewing the beauty, listening to the river and watching the deer walk by. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire pit. We stayed here to do the Virginia Creeper Trail (highly recommend) out of Damascus which is about an hour’s drive away from this cabin. Restaurants and shopping in West Jefferson was closer than we realized at only about a 17 minute drive away. Would highly recommend staying here !
Beautiful remote location cabin, and the owners are very accommodating.
We stayed here for our Virginia Creeper Trail experience and even with a change in our dates, the owner was great helping us out. We enjoyed the firepit, playing corn hole, watching the deer that came on the property, and a nice walk to the river nearby.
The property was very clean very well stocked. The cabin is tucked away and you feel like no one is around. Julius the host was amazing, he truly wants you to have a great stay! We will be back.
The house is well cared for and beautifully located to enjoy the mountains and the New River. Julis, the host, was wonderful and checked in by text to be sure everything was going well. And it did go well because he had so thoughtfully maintained and stocked the house. Linens, towels, cleaning supplies, paper products - it was all there. He even had inner tubes we could use to ride on the river. It really felt like staying at a friend’s house. Highly recommended.
My family really enjoyed our recent stay in the mountains. The location is perfect and secluded. Everything inside and out of the house was wonderful. Lots of thought had been put into every aspect of the house to make it even more enjoyable. The fire pit was nice and lots of smores and memories were made there. There is even an outdoor shower! It was awesome. You can even take a ride down the river that you can hear from the front porch. I cant say enough good things about the house and host. I hope we can come back soon!
For the second year in a row our family had a great time at this fantastic cabin.
Great location, beautiful setting, well maintained and clean.
Julius is the best Host that I have ever dealt with hands down!
I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back.
Property was beautiful! Well kept exterior and very homey interior. Everything exactly as described. Host was very attentive and checked on us often. Can’t say enough good things about this property and our host! Highly recommend.
My husband and I had an amazing weekend away at this beautiful cabin! The property and cabin was beautiful with all the necessities and well maintained. Peaceful mornings on the porch with coffee and listening to the birds, to cozy evenings by the fire pit provided a relaxing time for reflection. The owners kept in touch to make sure all was going well and we had what we needed. The outdoor shower was amazing!!!
We were looking for a place to stay in the Ashe County area with three of our grandchildren. This house was perfect for our needs. There were sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. We loved that there was a nice firepit that included wood! It was nice to look out in the morning and evening and see deer hanging around at the edge of the wooded area. The washer and dryer were a great benefit after tubing and swimming in the New River! Communicating with the owner was easy and we always got a speedy response. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future trips to Ashe County.
My husband and I spent 2 nights at this lovely home. It had everything we needed. It would be great for a family. The downstairs has 2 Bedrooms but we didn’t even go down there except to peek.
Julius was an amazing host from the moment we booked his glorious mountain home . The pictures on line do not do it justice ….. gorgeous home and could not be cleanser . The home location was an easy trip to West Jefferson for fun festivities . I especially loved sitting on the front porch …. Listening to the New River . The fire pit was also a favorite spot for our group . I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a beautiful peaceful, relaxing home nestled in a great neighborhood .
The house was great. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. Julius was a great communicator and made sure we were enjoying our stay. We also had good luck fishing in the river right at the house. Would definitely recommend
We had a great time. The owners were so kind and checked in on us often to see if we needed anything. The home was very nice and clean and was exactly what we needed for a long weekend. The cabin is stocked with everything you need. I would recommend this home to anyone. My husband and I were traveling with our son and his family. The 2 grandkids had a blast. We saw deer and turkey on the property which was exciting to them. We hope we will be able to stay again sometime.
Beautiful property and house. My family and I had a wonderful time, my son loved the fire pit and seeing the deer in the evening. Perfect vacation property!
We had an absolute blast at this property. Don’t let the spiral stair deter you, they are extremely sturdy! Driveway is pretty steep/pain to navigate but after the 1st time up/down it’s not so bad. The fire pit was the highlight of our stay. Enjoying the crisp air around a fire is hard to beat. Would definitely come back.
Wonderful host and property was simply beautiful and well maintained. Cabin was very clean and all the necessities were available. The host was amazing and checked in on us to make sure all was good. And it was great! Highly recommend and we will be back!
