SCAM!

We rented this place a couple of months ago for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. On the day of check in we still had not received any info to get into the house. After several texts, emails, messages, and a phone call, we finally called VRBO customer service to get a different house. When the property owner did call back, we explained that we needed checkin information and she hung up on us! She also hung up on VRBO when they attempted to reach out. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! She will take your money and not respond to anything!

Great location, property needs some work

Overall we enjoyed the stay. The house could be a great rental, but really needs some TLC to fix the little issues. They allowed us to bring our dogs which is wonderful, but we found out when we got there that cats had stayed at the house (even though they are not allowed) and my wife and two daughters are very allergic, so that was the biggest issue we had. It was strange that they had fish and a bearded dragon in the house as well (we were told that there was no concern about feeding them so we didn't worry). The little things included holes in the bed sheets, cat hair all over two of the beds, a broken door handle, and glass on the back deck from a broken outdoor light. Also, we had to clean up dog poo that was already all over the back yard and about four real bones were left out in the yard that luckily we found (we do not give real bones to our dogs because of a bad experience). Overall we really enjoyed the location, its perfect. If they really plan to rent this house for $450 per night, they need to give the place a little care and maintenance and it will be a great family rental.
