ABOUT 20 DRIVE TO EVERYTHING IT WAS A GREAT LOCATION! POOL NOT HEATED AND A LITTLE COLD FOR SPRING BREAK BUT THATS OK ALSO I FELT THE NEED TO WASH/ WIPE EVERYTHING MAYBE JUST NOT STAYED IN FOR A WHILE/ THE CAMRAS ARE BEING WATCHED 24/7 SEEMS WEIRD TO HAVE SOMEONE WATCHING YOU / AND KIDS BUT OVER ALL IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR WHAT WE WERE THERE FOR
Ruben was a wonderfully responsive host! The house had some electrical issues, but Ruben was able to fix them quickly. Thank you for coming to our rescue both times! Very nice open floor plan for the community area although the seating availability might have been challenging had all the beds been utilized. The beds were comfortable even though the mattress covers were a little crinkly. If we needed to be in San Antonio again with a large group, we would most likely try to stay here!
I loved how easy it was to check in into the home. Big space for a large family but not enough sittin accommodation. The place for the most part was clean but it could be better, towels were dirty and the washer was pretty nasty. The floors were sweat and mopped but you can see the mop was dirty and left dirty streaks everywhere.
We booked the place because it does have private pool but the pool was very green and dirty and we chose to not swim for this reason.
Not much entertainment in the house and when tried to reach Ruben to fix a tv I never got a response in the five days we were there.
When my group and I arrived, the temperature inside the home was 87 degrees. With a TX heat of 107 degrees, walking into this was VERY unpleasant.
We reached out a handful of times throughout the afternoon and did not get a response until the evening which owner said they would get maintenance out there and adjust. It was in the 80's all afternoon into the early evening. it was a constant battle with the thermostat as the temp kept rising. The digital thermostat im guessing the owner has control and so we had to keep monitoring throughout the day. EVERY person in our group was responsible to adjust when they saw the temp rise. We all didnt sleep very well becasue of this.
The pool was green. Needed to be cleaned or shocked or SOMETHING. It did not look good-One of the MAIN reasons we chose this home. We swam at our own risk of course. Little to NO papertowels for such a large group that was staying there. Next time if this isnt provided, let the guests KNOW.
As the soap dispensers in the restrooms and kitchen were a nice feature, there was not enough soap in the Kitchen. The refrigerator didn't keep things as cold as to be expected.
The electrical outlets in the master bedroom restroom- Not working.
In the laudry room there were men's underwear left on the shelf.
And lastly but DEFINITELY not least, there are BEDBUGS. 1st room down the hall(the one with the trundle), has bed bugs and our guest got bit ALL over her body.
Stay at your own risk.⚠️
For the most part it was clean. Washer and dryer very gross. Dressers, side stands and drawers not wiped out and full of hair, close tags. Had to clean bogers off the wall in the master bathroom. I think overall it was clean but attention to some detail from the cleaning people. Floor is all tile and the only thing they provide is a broom. Most people probably don't clean on vacation but I do and a swiffer would have helped. They only leave 2 tide pods 1 roll of paper towels and 1 roll of tp for each bathroom. For a house that sleeps 14. No hand towels for the bathrooms or washcloths so you have to dry your hands with big towels. They give one hand towel for the kitchen and some very watered down dish soap. Most dishes had to be re washed bc they wasn't clean. It does have a dish washer but no detergent for it. Also they have no bath Matt's so when you shower you either throw down a towel or risk killing your self getting out of the shower. Don't mind using towels to step on but when they only leave 2.tide pods and it has pool. You go through a lot of towels. Also no Matt's to wipe your feet when you enter the house. So that was a muddy mess and caused more sweeping with just a broom. We was there during rainy weather so we had to throw towels down at the doors. Neighbor hood was nice and quite no trouble there and I guess to most people the main things was clean. Master bathroom plugs didn't work around the sink and it's outside of the toilet and shower room. We also had to fix the kitchen sink bc whoever did the plumbing didn't do it correct. So in the middle of washing dishes it came apart. Frig makes a very loud noise every once in awhile so have to shut it off at night. So minor improvements and I would give it all 5 stars
