The host was great at communicating anything we woukd need and made the process of checking in easy. The location is close enough to Macedon that we could get anything we forgot to hring easily while still staying outaide of town.
Our stay at this property was absolutely phenomenal. The host was very responsive and the property was immaculate. The wood burning stove, outdoor fire pit on the deck, and the hot tub made this property special. We can't wait to come back and stay again!! I highly recommend staying at this property 5/5!! It is exceptional!!
We traveled to this cute home for a short family getaway. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. It had a cute beach vibe, had kitchen essentials, and TVs in living area/bedrooms. We were able to easily reach the owner and she responded quickly. Checking in/out were very easy. Hot tub was great. We utilized the house fireplace during our stay which only elevated our experience.
Fun cozy place with hot tub, No surprises, advertised exactly as is!!
The property owner was awesome and accommodated our late checkout, the place was clean, The bed was so comfortable I can't emphasize that enough
Definitely bring firewood or let them know ahead of time for a delivery!
Absolutely no complaints and I'm almost positive We will come back!
This was a great place to stay while visiting the area. Beds were very comfortable and lots of room in the home. Could use a little TLC on the slider out to the porch and the screen porch is definitely not bug proof but a nice place to sit and relax. Questions emailed to the owner were left unanswered but maybe we should have just called. I would highly recommend for a stay and would stay again if we were in the area.
The house was immaculate, cozy and quiet. The host was extremely helpful and responded quickly with any issue we had. Overall the stay and host were amazing and I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested.
It was wonderful. So inviting and enjoyable. We will definitely go back there if/ when we visit the area again. There was a lovely detailed notebook with details about the home as well as attractions in the area. So helpful! My ONLY negative was the porch light didn't work. But that's an easy fix and she may not have known about it. We didn't want to bug her with it because it was manageable with a flash light. But I did let her know on the dry erase board on the fridge when we left. The whole experience was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!
We had a great stay. The property was just as awesome as it looks and very clean. We felt like we entered from Macedon and wound up in the Adirondacks! One small problem, the propane was out for the fire table. However, Alicia went above and beyond and delivered a new tank and got it up and running for us! She is a great host and I would highly recommend renting with her.
Very clean. Beds comfortable. The hot tub was great. The home is older and a little beat up. the roof/ceiling makes loud creaking noises that made it a little hard to sleep. It’s on a busy road but the fenced back yard is great. We appreciated the anti-slip mat in the bathtub but would have liked a safer latch on the screen door for little ones. We had a nice and comfortable stay.
Searched for a place we could relax and get our boy away from campus life for a few hours. House provided that opportunity and some peace. Surprised that this asset didn't have the upkeep it deserves, it could be so much more with a bit of TLC. House was clean and comfy. Good luck with figuring out light switches. Overall, decent home but a bit expensive to me for the location.
My husband and I, as well as my 80+ year old parents stayed here in July 2024, having traveled up from PA for a family event. I was looking for a house that would be suitable for my parents (my dad walks with a cane and has some mobility issues) but also a cozy place to chill out, as we would have some down time. This house was great.
Both bedrooms and a spacious full bath were on the first floor, as was the kitchen, living room and a lovely (though slightly rustic) screened in porch, so we all could enjoy the space easily. There was even a wonderful electronic reclining chair - a bonus as that made sleeping for my dad, who sometimes has trouble in a bed, super easy. Also - the gas fire pit on the enclosed porch was AMAZING - the porch overlooks a quiet and very lush backyard with no neighbors in sight - even though we were on a residential street we felt miles away. It was also convenient, as there was a gas station, CVS and a variety of other things literally 2 minutes down the road.
The host was easy to contact and super responsive via the texting app, had left snacks on the table, as well as water, soda and a lovely bowl of fruit in the fridge for us, making us feel very welcomed.
The downstairs bathroom needs a bit of TLC, as does the enclosed porch, but this house is clearly cared for, warmly decorated, and we would gladly stay here again in the future.
