The yard and porches were so nice. Love the antique feel about it. Location so close to everything we needed. House was stocked with cooking seasoning and coffee, as well as snacks.
Nice older home with a beautiful backyard to sit in and visit. Comfortable to relax and an excellent collection of vinyl music to listen to. Will take this house over a hotel anytime. The atmosphere and the ability to visit at your leisure is well worth the price.
This is a huge home with plenty of space! We loved the fenced in backyard for our poodle. This home has a lot of character and felt cozy. Nice stay, close to everything.
The house has lots of room to spread out or gather together with one another. We enjoyed watching a movie on the giant TV and the sun room and screened porch were my favorite.
Charming older home with plenty of room! The purpose of our trip was to hike in the Shawnee National Forest, and the house was conveniently located to all that we wanted to do. The house is very close to town (within walking distance), but we did not do much there except for having breakfast at the Steam Cafe, which I highly recommend!
The property, while an older home, was very clean and comfortable. The backyard is fenced, but it is really not suitable for a dog to run free in as there are several places it could get out. I loved the screened porch and watching the dozens of squirrels in the backyard.
I came to Harrisburg for my 60th class reunion. Best place to stay in town. It was clean and great space. The pocket doors were beautiful. Great place to stay! Thank you so much.
This house is perfect and has everything you need. We rented this house for a family wedding. The location was perfect as the wedding venue was 3 blocks from the house. This was very convenient. The house is located close to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely rent again.
Clean, quiet, convenient. Neighbors waved. The host communications and check in/out instructions were so easy. Thank you for letting us stay here. Next time we'll have a fire in the lovely, huge yard. The front porch area could use blinds or other for privacy from the street.
We had a wonderful stay here! Loved having our morning coffee on the screened in back porch. The back yard has a fire pit, we had fun toasting marshmallows! Kitchen has everything needed for cooking. The host is thoughtful and good with communication. All the best places to eat in this small town are in walking distance. A perfect spot to stay if you’re here to explore the Shawnee National Forest!
I have a client who moved to this area. The house was so comfortable. We slept so good! I need to reach out to the owner to find out what the sheets and blanket brand was. I will be visiting my client yearly so I plan to rebook this home. I had to reach out to the owner on a tv issue and they responded right away. We also did a lot of site seeing and the home is in a great location.
Thank you again!
We stayed here while in-town visiting family for the holiday. Property was as listed, and loved that we were able to travel with our pet. The backyard is very dark at night, seems the solar lights have stopped working. Other than that, enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was cozy and clean. It was situated in the middle
Of All the sights we wanted to see. Easy in and out to everywhere. I would highly recommend staying here.
