The cabin beautiful to look at on site in but a few issues.
1. The king beds are terrible- so soft you sink in
2. Upstairs was drafty and cold- the main room upstairs is not well heat and there a hunky price of junk heater that is so loud it jerks you a wake because it can only be set on auto and it doesn’t reflect the heat it’s blowing. We had it set to high at 81 and it was maybe 70 in the room
3. The downstairs rooms get too hot. We had to crack the window and leave the door ajar- not get private
4. Upstairs lighting was terrible. It’s so dark in the main room with the light on we had to use our phone flashlight to see in the drawers and bags
5. Bring a kettle and colander- both necessary and basic tools. Especially to make pasta and tea or hot cocoa- a must in the winter
This house is adorable. There were 8 adults and an infant and we were very comfortable and never on top of each other. I love the two seating areas in the main living area. Wildlife outside is fabulous. The kitchen is stocked with everything but a pizza cutter. A sharp butcher knife worked well though. My daughter was the only one to try the outdoor shower and she loved it. Even though it was 100 degrees that weekend, the house was comfortable.
