We had to find a home to stay in while ours went through a small remodel. We were blessed to find this home so close to ours. We really enjoyed our stay!
Wonderful home, everything worked perfectly and was very clean. Communication with property management was quick and courteous

A big reason for choosing location was backyard pictures. It is not at all like the pictures. Back privacy fence does not exist and instead there is small sort of wooden open fence. Shrubs are all overgrown. Lack of chairs and seating has changed. Also kitchen lacked some basic things. Couch and kitchen table very uncomfortable. Hot tub was good at first but then half way through stay developed discoloration and odd smell. We were told it would be fixed within the next day or two but it was never fixed. Carl did initially respond really well and help us with a lot of issues, but after the hot tub, we did not really hear from him any more.
Had a wonderful stay at Pelican. The house was just what you see in the photos, minus the back fence. Carl was very prompt on responding to any questions we had and we even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Would definitely recommend this property to family and friends!
We got in very late the 1st night and were pleased to find a clean and comfortable house with a super comfy bed! We made several meals and had the things needed to do so. We used the hot tub nearly every night and rode the bikes a few times. We were just looking to live in the sunshine for a while and this was a great place to do that. The host was very responsive to any questions or needs that we had. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
My family and I stayed here recently. Carl's home was clean and well stocked with essentials. We were very comfortable during our stay. One of the perks of the home was that we could also bring our fur baby. I typically like to book homes that are fully fenced in the backyard. The photos on this listing shows a full perimeter vinyl fence however the rear side of the property is now a very low wooden slate fence with large gaps. We had to watch our dog very closely so he did not escape. I would assume it was due to Ian damage but the listing should be updated. Other than that no big issues!
We stayed for two months (Jan - Feb, 2024) at this location. We looked a full year in advance for something that would meet our needs--good amount of space, close to many attractions/services, and not too touristy to avoid high costs. This place is the best. We found so many things to do in Cape Coral. South Florida traffic is miserable, but this location makes it as painless as possible. And we were close enough that we made trips to FMB, Punta and FM airports, and we visited friends in Venice, Sarasota, Tampa, and Naples. At the house itself, so much to offer--three great bedrooms for different family and friend visitors, nice eating area, ample kitchen, and wonderful sitting area for watching TV. Our favorite spots were the screen back porch and the beginning and end of the day and the wonderful hot tub to relax each night. Owner is very responsive and lives locally. Five stars. We wish we could come back.

Second choice
We were lucky to find this nice little place but there were several issues. The hot tub was dirty and not usable and there were no chemicals in the house as listed in the book. The bedroom TVs were way too small to be viewed easily. Having bug traps on the counters was unnerving. Bedroom shades need to have extra slates removed so they can actually shut. Having the lawn service show up at 7am was just a treat and good wake up call, not! And the barn door needs to be leveled so it will stay open when needed.
We were visiting my spouse’s family in Cape Coral for the holidays and found a VRBO nearby. The house was clean and quiet, plenty of towels and K-cups, washer and dryer worked great. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The hot tub is set to 85F so you should set the temp a bit in advance before you get in. We would definitely stay again!
Me and my guests had a great time at this rental property in Cape Coral, it was super clean, had plenty of space, and everything was modern and updated. We were a party of 4 in town for our friends wedding, and we were very comfortable staying here! You can easily get in and out with the keypad. House had central AC too. There was also a hot tub and a retro arcade game that we had a lot of fun with! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for other people looking :)
