This house was beautiful and comfortable inside and out!
Kids enjoyed going to the beach.
Enjoyed the decor. The kitchen was well equipped and very useful.
The main problem is at the front door does not have a good lock. You can push a button on the striker plate and disable the handle from the outside but there is no bolt lock so it is not very secure. My husband said it smelled funny in there and it needed some repair and paint on the walls, as well as a newer refrigerator and updated decor would make a world of difference for this little tiny place. The bed was fine and the bathroom was fine. Pots and pans in the cupboard were nasty and dirty. The kitchen a was not properly supplied like other nightly rentals I have used in the past. When you turn the lights off in the bedroom, the TV goes off. I did, however, enjoy the big shower and slept well in the bed. The loft upstairs was way too tiny for anyone to sleep up there. The property manager was, however easy to reach and we had nice bikes to use to ride on the trail. The trail is beautiful and goes for miles and miles.
Things we loved:
—Located right next to Southern Links Trailway just 10-12 minute walk from Otter Lake.
—Cabin much bigger and accommodating than we thought.
—Sleeping quarters quite cozy.
—Air conditioner worked quite well and was modern.
—Shower was huge with great pressure.
—Having access to fire pit, bikes and kayaks (adult and kids) were big plusses.
Only thing we noticed is that the recliners could use a re-wrap (leather peeled a little). Otherwise, this is a fantastic place to stay! And the property manager Jerry is very responsive and personable.
