Operated like it's 1985 / full-time renters in same place

Internet is not secured and thus my iphone refused to download any texts, emails, or whatsapp messages - I had to drive elsewhere several times a day to be able to receive incoming communication. Check-in: Person was nice but did not furnish Wifi info - I had to go ask for it the next day (not that it mattered...see above). 2nd big issue: apartment 14 across the hallway is being rented to a family of 4. Every day there was drama: their little kids were screaming their heads off reliably from 5 to 7 pm. The parents were smoking on the shared balcony (divided only by a wooden board for visual privacy) and talking loudly. I could never open the balcony door before midnight due to them smoking and talking loudly outside. Given there is no A/C and temps were 90-100 F every day, this deprived me of a critical way to cool down the place. Not going back there next time I travel to the area.
