Beware of host
I work for an environmental company, and I booked this house for a group of 2 that were going to be doing some surveys in the area. The host, Jason share some concerns because he had a bad experience with an oil company. I told him that I understood and that I've never had issues with these 2, but I spoke to them anyways, shared Jason's concerns, and I asked them to take extra care of the house.
That day after check-out, Jason called and spoke to my supervisor. He aggressively said that the house was trashed, the dishes were broken, there was trash everywhere, and the garbage disposal was broken. He convinced my supervisor that it was a $1000 worth of damage!
I spoke to the crew and apparently the garbage disposal was already broken, and when Jason sent me pictures, everything he said was extremely exaggerated.
On top that, the neighbors called the cops on the crew the first night they were there because they looked suspicious unloading their truck.
Nice house but not worth dealing with a money grabber and nosy neighbors.
