Munich Countryside Apartment A - S-Bahn train - nearby brewery village Aying

Our modern apartments are located in a 2 unit house (built in 2006) in Dürrnhaar about 10 km from the southeastern outskirts of Munich. The S-Bahn station can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. Internet access is available. Parking spaces are available in front of the house. Towels, bed linen, internet access, utilities and final cleaning are included in the rent. Bringing pets is not allowed. These are non-smoking apartments.

Apartment A is in the basement of our house and has a bright and friendly living-dining-kitchen area, bathroom (toilet / shower / bath) and 1 bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed (160cm wide). The living area has 3 single sofa beds (each 80cm wide).

All our apartments are in accordance with local legal requirements for short term rentals.

Sehr nette Begrüßung. Sehr sauberes Haus. Hier kann man sich wohl fühlen. Kurzer Weg zum Bahnhof, der Besuch in München war dadurch einfacher. Rundum ein paar schöne Urlaubstage. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, besonders für Urlaub mit dem Elektroauto

Eine wunderbare Ferienwohnung. Parkmöglichkeit am Haus mit Lademöglichkeit für Elektroauto, was mir besonders wichtig war. Die S-Bahnstation ist wenige hundert Meter entfernt. Der Gastgeber ist sehr sympatisch und hilfsbereit. Listen mit Sehenswürdigkeiten und Gastronomien liegen bereit. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und modern eingerichtet und hell. Für den ungestörten Schlaf sind Außenrollos vorhanden. Wir waren 5 Tage dort und können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen. In dem Haus gibt es weitere Ferienwohnungen.

Sehr saubere und tolle Ferienwohnung

Die Beschreibung auf das Objekt passt genau. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sehr moderne Ausstattung. Der Anschluss an die S-Bahn ist in 5min zu erreichen , was für uns super gepasst hat. Für 5 Personen ausreichender Platz. Schöne Gegend.

Schöne FeWo für Kurzurlaub

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut für einen Kurzurlaub (z.B. um München zu erkunden) geeignet. Für einen längeren Urlaub ist die Lage im Untergeschoss sicherlich nicht zu empfehlen. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr schön und modern. Die Vermieter waren gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich.

Clean and quiet

We had a wonderful stay in the one bedroom apartment. It was extremely clean and quiet and located in the small village of Dürrnhaar. Prior to booking, the owners were very responsive to my email questions and provided all the information I needed. We did not rent a car and were able to travel via train for daytrips to Regensburg, Neuschwanstein Castle, Salzburg, and Munich. Travel via train took longer than car, but it was definitely feasible. Dürrnhaar is 30 min from Ostbahnhof (Munich East) and 40 min from Munich Central station. When we first arrived, Rupert met us at the Dürrnhaar train station, showed us the best route to walk to the apartment, and provided lots of very good information which we appreciated. He also had good restaurant recommendations.

Modern und sauber für 4 Personen

Wir haben die Wohnung zusammen mit unserem Sohn und seiner Frau gebucht. Die Unterkunft war frisch renoviert und alles sehr neu und sauber. In Bad und Küche ist alles da was man braucht (außer Spülmaschine). Zum Frühstück sitzt man auf leider etwas unbequemen "Barhockern". Es ist ein Schlafzimmer und eine Schlafcouch vorhanden. Leider fehlen weiter Sessel, so dass man am Abend eigentlich nicht gemütlich zusammen sitzen kann. Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Preis ist o.k. Die Kommunikation und Begrüßung durch den Vermieter war sehr freundlich.

My friends, family, and I had a fantastic stay during Oktoberfest and only wished we could stay longer. Rupert & Julia's apartment is perfect and they were extremely accommodating. We had lost luggage couriered to Rupert's property before we had arrived and he kindly collected it. Also, one of our friends showed up late in the evening before we had arrived back from the city and Rupert kindly let him in from the cold. These gestures were very much appreciated! We used the smaller downstairs apartment and rented an additional bedroom above the garage to accommodate 7 of us, which worked out perfectly. We had everything we needed including good coffee, wifi, and an excellent shower! Don't be put off by the distance into the city. We found the train into the main station in Munich to be very good, taking approximately 35 minutes and running frequently and at all hours. The XXL day pass for public transport is perfect when staying at the apartment. If staying, do read Rupert's instructions for the short walk between the train station and the apartment as google will take you via the main road.

Great place to stay

Excellent stay! We´ve spent two weeks in the smaller one. Well located, close to the train station, easy way to Munich, Nürnberg, Salzburg, Zugspitze, etc. Clean and organized. The Herz family is very nice, friendly and always there if you need anything.The possibility of cooking at "home" gave us the joy of feeling at a very cozy place. Gerne wieder (would do it again). freundlich helles und schönes Souterrain

Wir waren mit 3 Personen vor Ort untergebracht und hatten ein sehr schönes Souterrain übergeben bekommen. Wir fanden die Unterkunft sehr schön und komfortabel (Fussbodenheizung, Küchenausstattung, Bad-Zubehör, WLAN, usw.) eingerichtet. Alles sehr sauber! Man ist mit dem Auto sehr schnell an den zentralen Punkten (München, Alpen, usw.) Der Weg zur Bahn zu Fuss ist etwas weiter weg aber kein Hindernis. Wir würden die FeWo immer weiterempfehlen.

Schöne Wohnung, gute Anbindung, gerne wieder

Wir waren für 3 Tage in München unterwegs mit der Familie. Die Wohnung liegt schön in einem kleinen Ort. In der Wohnung ist alles enthalten, was einen Kurztrip angenehm umrandet. Die Vermieterfamilie ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Anbindung zur S-Bahn ist gut. Fußweg ca. 10 Minuten. Die Bahnen fahren alle 40 Minuten, sodass die Stadt direkt zu erreichen ist. Rund rum gelungener Urlaub in einer schönen Ferienwohnung am Rande Münchens.

Excellent place to stay

My husband and I stayed at this location in September 2011 and 2013. The place is very clean. The owners are friendly and are very helpful providing guidance on tourist attractions. The unit is very clean and spacious. It includes everything that we need including hair dryer, pots and pans, cups and other utensils. It is only about 700m from the s-bahn (subway) and takes about 30 minutes to get to the heart of Munich. The subway ride is very scenic. We definitely recommend this place to visitors and we will definitely stay there again.

Great place for a family

We are a Canadian family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children 11 and 13) who are on an around-the-world trip. We stayed in many apartments across Europe. This place was very nice - great backyard for the kids, spotlessly clean, good coffee machine, access to washing machine, good internet connection, big bedroom and a pullout couch. We found it a great location for sightseeing in Munich - took the SBahn from Ottobrun station (parked our car there) as the tickets were cheaper from there. Buying a Family pass for the transit made it so inexpensive to tour all over Munich. Nice kitchen which made it great for having breakfast there, making our lunches for the day and we mostly ate dinner out each night. Rupert was an excellent host and had lots of information on sightseeing in and around Munich.

Super schöne Wohnung!

Wir waren 5 Mädels (18-26) die zum Oktoberfest nach München gefahren sind.Der Preis ist dafür unschlagbar gewesen und die Wohnung war definitiv schöner als jedes billige Hotel oder Hostel in der Stadt. Mit der Bahn kommt man innerhalb von 40 min zum Festgelände und man kommt bis 2 Uhr ohne Probleme zurück. Die Wohnung ist wirklich genau so wie sie hier beschrieben ist. Die Vermieter sind wirklich nett und hilfsbereit. Sogar als eine von unserer Gruppe kurzfristig krank geworden ist, musste wir nicht für Sie bezahlen. Das fand ich wirklich sehr nett! Bei Ankunft haben wir vom Vermieter alles erklärt bekommen und auch Tipps bekommen wir wir nach München kommen und was wir bedenken müssen. Diese Wohnung ist die ideale Lösung, wenn man einen Städtetrip machen möchte, aber nicht so gerne mitten in der Stadt wohnen möchte, sonder auch ein wenig Landluft schnuppern möchte. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Nice but...

The apartment is very nice and modern. Rupert is nice but there are rules to follow. You can't wear shoes in the apartment and you can only use the washer and dryer when the owner is there and only during certain times of the day. There is a 2 EURO charge for washing and drying. There is NO internet access at the apartment. Rupert told us that by law the owner is responsible for what guests do on the internet so he does NOT provide access to his network account. Nevertheless, it is a very short walk to the Durnhaar train station and from there easy access to Munich. Aying, about 3 kilometers away, has the famous Ayinger brewery and beer garden. A must if you stay here. There didn't seem to be a good bike/walking path to Aying, only the highway so we felt you need to drive there or take the train. If the rules and internet access aren't important to you this is a nice place to stay.
