This is the second time we have stayed at this property and will almost certainly stay here again. The hosts are prompt and attentive and easy to communicate with. The property itself is situated in a state park so the setting is beautiful and peaceful. I would give both the hosts and the property a 10 out of 10.
This place is absolutely a diamond. It’s quiet, chic, and quaint. I really enjoyed my stay. Honestly, for the price and the peace it’s a great deal. I will definitely be staying again.. I totally recommend “ The Chalet”…
We wanted to explore Hattiesburg as we had never been to this area. Beautiful area with lots to do. Plenty of places to visit. We were about fifteen minutes out of town so we avoided the hustle and bustle of town.
We had a nice relaxed time. Would have been better if the grass was cut. It was a bit high, but still wasn't so bad. It was a much needed get away. Close to everything in town that we went to do. We would diffidently stay here again and again.

The property looked recently renovated and up-to-date. Although it was a relatively small space, it had everything you need. The host was more than patient and communicative and very helpful. We hope to be able to stay there every time we come to this area. Thanks for the great experience!
Great place to stay. I stay here every time I come home off the road Neighbors are great host is great. Dryer squeaks but that’s ok and roku tv never buffers but Samsung does a lot but other than that is amazing and I will be back
This is a nice place. The outside is neat and well kept. The inside is AMAZING! I was completely amazed at how nice the place was furnished. It is clean, modern and comfortable, plenty of hot water, all the appliances are top notch and the bed and pillows were really nice and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. There were literally zero problems at this property and I would not hesitate to recommend this property or host to my friends.
My husband and I always stay at Vrbos or air b&b because of the cleanliness and privacy. This little chalet did not disappoint. We were only in town for the weekend, celebrating my grandmother’s 80th birthday. It’s very close to Hattiesburg, where there is lots to do. We, however, enjoyed the fact that it was in a quiet neighborhood near a lake. Very relaxing and was just what we needed. The host was always quick to respond and very helpful. I would recommend getting any groceries on your way to the chalet, as it is very secluded and a little ways from any major stores.
Nice little chalet in the country. Spacious inside, lots of extras to make it feel like home (regular sized refrigerator and stove, well stocked kitchen essentials, coffee maker for grounds or pods whichever you decide to bring with you, blanket for couch comfort, and a nice sitting porch)
We spent a lot of time at Paul B Johnson State Park with family, mainly just slept and showered there. However, it was a great place, a diamond in the rough per say. If in the area again would definitely stay here versus a hotel.
Host had excellent communication from the time I made the booking. Property is close to the state park and away from the hustle and bustle of Hattiesburg. Host addressed minor issues immediately and they were resolved shortly after that.
