An authentic downtown Roslyn home! Walk everywhere, pets welcome!
The patio is OPEN and a warm, dry Spring awaits in Roslyn! Welcome to Ellie & Ems! This turn of the century home is filled with the history & charm you'd expect in the heart of downtown Roslyn! It was a 2 year labor of love to preserve the aesthetics of a home built in 1900 while adding all the most modern convinces including a walk in shower, AC, smart, TV's & an outdoor living space w/hot tub! We filled it with antiques, super comfy beds, a huge "bunk room" for the kids & we are eager to welcome you for a unique, nostolgic stay in a town you'll love.

Excellent place to stay. The property is very well equipped and spacious inside. Dawn and Paul were very good hosts and made accessing the property very easy. All of the town’s amenities are within walking distance
Very convenient location, close to shops and cafes but still very quiet. The property is lovely, just like the photos showed. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much
Great Location in Updated Victorian House in Roslyn!
We absolutely loved this home! Perfect location - the main drag with restaurants The Brick, etc is just around the corner. The home is perfectly decorated, with modern updates mixed with vintage charm. It is even nicer than the photos!
My husband and I and our small dog stayed two nights, and we loved that there is a great fenced yard for her to roam in, with nice patio seating (there is also a hot tub that we didn't have time to use).
Super comfortable bed and bedding (so important!), nice, large bathrooms with every amenity, and huge kitchen with light-filled dining area. Super clean too!
We visited in July, and really enjoyed being able to open the windows at night with the nice cool evening temps.
We stopped in Roslyn while visiting friends who live nearby. We also wanted to see this cute town that was the filming site of one of our favorite TV series, Northern Exposure. Although the town is more touristy and upscale than it was 30+ years ago when the show was filmed, you can still easily see some of the locations for the show, including The Brick, the Roslyn Cafe mural, KBHR, and the "Dr. Joel Fleishman" sign on the storefront of the building where his office was. Super easy to walk to all of these from this home. We also took a short drive out to Lake Cle Elum, which was another filming site for the show.
The home was more pricey than we were hoping for, but decided it was worth it for the location and amenities - we were not disappointed!
From the moment we arrived to checking out the experience was first rate! The wine and chocolates were delightful. The attention to detail in the way this property was renovated and is kept up is spot on. So very charming as welll. Lots of room to spread out and to have friends over. Close to everything in Roslyn.
This property was AMAZING-the location, the little "extras", the excellent communication, the neighbors of the property were fun-just a great weekend getaway!! Dawn went above and beyond with her response to things to do while in town and it was much appreciated and well used! Thank you for opening your home and giving us this much needed and long overdue time together!!
This was our family's first visit to Roslyn. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations and the holiday decorations were perfect! Being able to walk to restaurants and shops was a huge plus. We can't wait to book our next visit!
Super vaca once again. No complaints, nice weather, great hiking and the Mountain Ale Festival as well! This is becoming a standard yearly getaway for us. Love the location, right behind the Roslyn Brewery. Lots of room, big kitchen, two large bathrooms and a hot tub! Fenced yard for our little dogs. Even made a new friend with the neighbor and her puppy Huck.
Beautifully remodeled 1900’s home right in the charming town of Roslyn. The 3 bedroom home with an amazing kitchen was perfect for our family of 4 adults and two small boys. Shopping, restaurants, brilliant bookstore, the charming wedding venue, trails in the pines, and a quaint movie theater made it a perfect stay.
As someone who works in real estate and short term rentals this property checks off all the boxes. Fully updated and remodeled. Amazing location within 30 seconds to restaurants and coffee shops, well stocked and very very clean! We will be back.
We loved our stay. The property was clean, and newly renovated. Everything we needed was there. No detail seemed to be overlooked. One block away from Pennsylvania Avenue: shops, restaurants, bars, candy store for the kids, and taverns if so inclined. We loved the hot tub, the comfy beds, and the seating areas. The kids loved the games. We would definitely stay again.
Two families, 7 people and dog loved this house. We were looking for a place to spend Thanksgiving out of the city (Sea) and Roslyn was top on our list for a handful of reasons. This house was PERFECT. Kitchen was great and well equipped. Bedrooms/beds were very comfortable and larger bathrooms were a nice bonus. Hot tub was great as was the fenced yard for our dog.
Owners Paul and Dawn were very responsive on the few pings we had during our stay.
Looking forward to our next stay here!
Wonderful house a block from downtown. Right behind Rosyln Brewing! Fenced in yard, front and back, perfect for our little dog. Impressive game room upstairs with small beds for kids, large master bedroom up there too with an amazing walk in shower. Downstairs has another bedroom and bathroom. Massive kitchen looking out on the backyard with all the essentials. Propane "wood" stove with a pair of comfy chairs for visits and reading. We had unsettled weather with 6" of wet snow and 5" of rain (so the locals said) but had a fantastic time even so.
A great base to walk a block to downtown, ride bikes on trails and roads, go out to eat and enjoy a beautiful setting and cozy interior. Nice hot tub outside to see the stars and outdoor seating and bbq. The house looks like and is from 1900 but the inside is very now.

Restoration of this turn of the century home was quite an adventure but we are proud of the results and look forward to sharing it authentic charm. Of course most of the interior components are new plumbing, electrical service, etc but we saved the windows at the back of the house along with the siding and front and back porches. We love this little town but especial the opportunity for so many year round outdoor activities including mountain and hiking trails in every direction just outside the door. We hope you will enjoy this house and what the Roslyn/Cle Elum area has to offer as much as we do!
