This house was built in 2019 in the middle of the Wolfsschlucht holiday home park near Prüm in the Walcherath district, which is currently under construction.
Here you have the opportunity to rent an energy-optimised holiday home of modern construction with high-quality, comfortable furnishings as your holiday home. The entire living area is at ground level and easily accessible from the car parking space in front of the house. The entire ground floor is barrier-free and fulfils the current standards of the Inclusion Act. This makes the house suitable for people with limited mobility. The bathroom and WC can also be used with a walking aid or wheelchair. In addition, an open gallery with two single beds is available on the first floor as a further bedroom and leisure room.
The entire house is conveniently heated by heat pump technology in conjunction with underfloor heating. In the cold season, you can enjoy the evenings in the living room in front of the open fire with your family or friends or relax in your own modern infrared cabin after an eventful day.
On sunny days, the terrace belonging to the house invites you to relax in nature and the tranquillity of the Wolfschlucht recreation area.
The Wolfschlucht recreation area is part of the Prüm municipality. As a recognised climatic health resort in the German-Belgian Nature Park, Prüm has a forest swimming pool, indoor leisure pool with sauna, solarium with medical bathing department, spa park, tennis court and indoor riding arena. Prüm town centre is approx. 4 km away from your accommodation by car and approx. 3 km away on foot via a well-developed hiking trail.
You can start your outdoor activities directly from your holiday accommodation. Well-developed hiking and cycling trails, sights and nature are waiting to be explored by you. Marked hiking trails open up the landscape and offer wonderful views and rest stops. This applies equally to the excursion areas Wolfsschlucht, Schwarzer Mann, Prümer Kalkmulde and the valley of Schönecker Schweiz with its bizarre rock formations.
For carefree cycling fun in the Germany-Luxembourg-Belgium border triangle, the Prümtal Cycle Route and the Eifel-Ardennes Cycle Route offer the best conditions for families and senior citizens. The premium cycle paths are signposted throughout.
In terms of cuisine, the Eifel region offers regional specialities as well as international culinary delights to suit individual tastes.
In the winter months, in good snow conditions, you can access a groomed cross-country ski trail just 50 metres away or the Wolfsschlucht ski area (570 metres above sea level) with a drag lift and the ski hut operated by the Prüm ski club all year round just 250 metres away. In good weather conditions, the ski area is also covered with artificial snow. Floodlit skiing and après-ski are offered at the weekends. The somewhat larger Schwarzer Mann ski and recreation area (697 metres above sea level) is approx. 14 km away.

The holiday area is currently still under construction. Most of its immediate surroundings have been completed, and work on the 2nd construction phase will begin in summer 2022.
