We really enjoyed our stay at the Goldie Locks Cabin. We had everything we needed for a great stay. Again the be in the master bedroom the bed was way too firm and i couldn't sleep but i took a pillow from the other bed and for some reason it didn't bother me and i slept great the rest of our stay..the only other real bad thing was for the 2nd year now the key holder gave me a fit when i got there,it took me a while to get in.Other than those two thing we had an Awsome stay..i would like to return im just scared the trees will block the view before too much longer. Thanks for allowing us to stay there we Loved it!
The photos do no do it justice! It was very well maintained, spotlessly clean and had great layout with tasteful decor. Since the weather was so great we enjoyed sitting on the very private deck watching a lovely sunset. It was just a few miles to great state parks with opportunities for exploring nature. The road going up the mountain does have many twists and turns, so arriving for the first time during daylight is recommended. We would love to return during another season to enjoy the views.
We loved our stay at this house. The inside was decorated beautiful and the view off the deck was gorgeous. It was only a short drive off US 441 and close to restaurants and grocery stores. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely stay again.
We had such an enjoyable time! Lots of laughs. The view is gorgeous. I will advise the road is unexpectedly steep to the house. One car got stuck - we are still laughing about it. Thankfully strangers helped get her out.
Very clean. Had most everything we needed. I would suggest a larger pot (we wanted soup in cold weather but pot wasnt big enough) and fire starter. We wanted a fire so badly but never could get it to stay lit, even when we bought kindling and brought wood. We are city girls. We needed a boy scout! Ha.
I would recommend for any trip! The sunsets are showstopping. We turned the lights off and sat watching it set through the glass windowfront. Beautiful.
I will give this information: the ride up to the cottage is STEEP and narrow at some points. If you’re staying here, I suggest arriving during daylight hours the first time. There are some steep, scary roads on the mountain! But it’s SOO worth the drive. The view off the back deck is BREATHTAKING. The cottage was so cute and spacious. The kids LOVED it. Our host was very kind and super helpful. Very short drive to many things to do. We will definitely be going back to this area!
This little cozy Goldilocks home was just right for our family of five. Once you get settled you will not want to leave. The drive up the mountain was beautiful. We enjoyed fires everyday. Owner is so kind. We hope to return again soon!
Elizabeth was just precious I called her twice and she couldn’t have been nicer The cottage was roomy, comfortable and fixed up so very nice. We had a great time and I actually saw a little bear cub out of my window. FUN!
Had an enjoyable stay at this nice house that's "Tucked away" in the the north Ga mountains. Beautiful scenery at the house as well as the drive to get there..
The place had about every thing we needed, except you might want to bring some wash rags we couldn't find any, aluminum foil for the charcoal grill, And maybe a few containers if you plan on having leftovers. Other than that it we were set.
And I advise sleeping in the 2nd bedroom and not the master unless you like a "FERM" mattress.
Over all we had a very nice stay and made some enjoyable memories there, and we hope to get to go back again soon!
