The home was recently remodeled and rebuilt and has a history steeped in reef net salmon fishing and Lummi Island lore. The large oil painting in the living room was painted by Eva Granger one of the original islanders in 1901. The home has expansive views of some of the other islands in the San Juan archipelego and the shipping lanes. In August and September you can watch the reef net boats fish for salmon and you can always buy a fresh caught salmon from them.
There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. One of the bedrooms has a King bed and the other either 2 twins or they can be converted to a Queen size bed. The living room has a Queen size sleeper sofa, a propane fire place and DVD. The kitchen is new and fully equipped. There is a large deck on the front where you can take advantage of the views also plenty of outdoor seating, tables and BBQ. There is a good size lawn area for croquet, bocce ball and the like. The beach across the street is filled with driftwood, agates and shells. If you have a boat you can crab in season. Bring along your kayak or I can arrange for a company to take you out. We also have bikes. All in all a perfect vacation spot.

We stayed here for a wedding on the island and it couldn't have been more perfect. Set in a gorgeous location across from the beach, we enjoyed many walks along the sound. Would definitely come back!
Quaint, historic property. It was lovely to be located back from the street, with an unobstructed view. The house had everything we needed. The ferry was so easy, no reservations and a quick crossing. We would love to come back again.
Everything we could want was stocked. We have stayed in many VRBO homes & this was the best stocked we have been at. Very clean. I would highly recommend.
We had a delightful few days relaxing at “Reefnet” with our daughter’s family. The view is stunning and peaceful, the cottage beautifully renovated and perfectly outfitted. We cooked, walked, skipped stones at the beach and stared at the moon and stars from the deck. We will be back!
What a sweet little spot! I loved staying at this house across from the beach. It was so clean and comfy. It had everything I needed and more for a great stay. The view from the living room and deck were so relaxing and the beach was just across the street. Lummi Island was spectacular as well. I would stay here again!

What makes this property unique
This spot is unique as there is very little reef net fishing any more. Just being able to watch the fishing and being able to purchase fresh caught salmon is a treat in itself.
