Very good

The house is very large, with plenty of sleeping areas, however it is terribly out of date. The blinds are all broken, so you cannot open/close them. The furniture is on its last leg. Showers are terrible. Front door does not stay latched, even when locked. It popped open three different times. I am not a nit picky person, but I expected better for the price, especially considering the location.

Amazing location, some things not as expected
A few things that affected our stay were: No hot water a couple of times. Thankfully my man was there to get the hot water heater going again. Multiple lights inside did not work. Lights outside in the front did not work. It’s hard to grill dinner for everyone after a long day of travels in the dark.My son discovered sand between the sheets in his bed. My other son found a cartridge used for THC devices in his pull out bed. My girls found a box of condoms under their bed. Shower heads, faucets and drains collectively are in ill working order. The views and accessibility to hiking trails were incredible!
The owners shared their phone numbers with us. It was nice to know that if we had a question, it would be easy to contact them. The views from this home can't be beat. We enjoyed hiking right out the back property line. On our last day 2 of us hiked to the top of the "Flatiron".
The location and Host are perfect for hitting the trails around the Apache Junction area and the Superstition Mountains. The house can accommodate a lot of people and still gives space. We bombed out each day to ATV, Hike, or Site See. Came back home to play games at night. The house is still in a great location, and the host is wonderful to work with, but that house is just at the point where it needs some TLC -- I am sure that will be taken care of soon, so this is a wonderful location to see the area.
