Lakefront home with dock over the water. It’s small in size (525 sq. ft), but has a full kitchen and bath. Nestled within the Preserve there are miles of hiking trails and several lakes to fish-bring your canoe/kayak. A great place to stay to enjoy Chattanooga with the family.

I didn’t want to leave!! This was the perfect cabin. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The owner was very quick to reply to any questions I had. I hope I can return soon and stay longer!!
The cottage was in a wonderful quiet location. Just enough space for everyone to relax. I think the wax seal on the toilet (flange) has given way or cracked. When we arrived the smell of septic was quite strong coming from the restroom. We kept the door closed as much as possible which helped. Also, the shower door was off the hinge so it wouldn’t stay closed while showering. Easy fix was to hold it with a toe while showering ;) Although the bunks were rickety once in them they were quite comfortable. The overall interior of the cabin was cleanly kept and cozy.
Not sure about anyone else, but the most important thing about where I stay is how clean it is. Cabin was super clean. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the owner.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the tiny fishing cabin! The lake is peaceful and I loved being able to watch/help my children fish throughout the day right from our front porch. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook at home. The porches are great, and the chairs were lovely for sitting on the deck. We ate every meal at the picnic table - what a view! The bunk beds were comfortable. We were easily able to launch our kayaks from the grass and explored the lake even more. This place is a gem!
This cabin was so great! We came to spend a small Thanksgiving. Had a wonderful time. There was everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils. The fishing was fantastic. Caught two giant catfish. This is just a beautiful place for any time of the year. Will definitely be back. Thank you!
We were able to enjoy this cozy home. A getaway was much needed from Work, husband is a Pastor, granddaughter in college (break). So, yes this was very relaxing, very peaceful & honestly none of us wanted to leave. Thank you for a great place to relax. God bless.
I booked this cabin for our visit to Chattanooga. The cabin was perfect for our family of four. Small but just enough space for what we needed. I really liked the back porch with a deck. It was a nice spot to come back to and relax in the evening to enjoy the lovely view of the lake.
This cabin was conveniently located as I live nearby and just needed a quiet place for a few days to relax and recharge from my everyday busy working mom life. The cabin is clean, organized, safe and in a beautiful location, especially in Autumn! The leaves!! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, glassware and utensils. There is a full size fridge and a full size stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker and a Keurig! The TV was centrally located in the cabin and could be watched from the covered porch too! The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable with plenty of seating. Although I didn’t stay upstairs in the bunk room, the space was clean and the bunks were newer and had nice linens with its own cooling/heating unit and a ceiling fan. The bathroom is clean and up to date with a lovely shower head and great water pressure! And you get nice HOT showers! The bath towels were newer and nice and soft. The views from the back deck/porch areas (yes, two areas) were awesome! The lake was rippling from a soft breeze most of the day and placid near the evening. Perfect for enjoying some reading time while listening to birdsong above—very relaxing! I did not fish, but I could hear them breaking the surface once in a while so they are out there to be caught! I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a picturesque, relaxing place to stay alone or with a few friends! I plan to be back in the very near future! Thanks, Steve! Great job!
