This was a very lovely, comfortable, quiet, convenient nicely decorated place to call home for a few days. Check in was super easy. Dan was attentive and checked in to see if we needed anything. The kitchen was well equipped and everything in the home worked very well.
Perfect place to stay for biking directly from the property. Lower unit was clean and well appointed having been recently renovated. Kitchen has everything you need for meals. Wish we stayed 2 to 3 days.
We enjoyed our stay. The rental was very spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The location was close to the places we visited in the Marquette area. The neighborhood was quiet.
The host was adequately responsive and was attentive to any of our needs that had arisen.
Thank you for hosting us, Dan.
Comfortable, cozy, quiet neighborhood, clean. Not sure there was anything else to ask from the property. It was a great place to spend an evening after traveling on a several day road trip. It was a very nice stay and I would stay there again.

A really nice stay for what we were looking for. On a bit of a strange dead end street, there were some people riding four wheels down the street all night but otherwise pretty quiet area. Nice full kitchen and cozy living room. A quick drive to Marquette and other cool nature trails. Would stay again
Quaint old house in quiet friendly neighborhood - will come back!
Comfortable accommodations, very clean, comfy bed, nice shower, spacious living room. On very quiet, dead-end road by miles of forest and trails (biking, hiking). Friendly folks in the neighborhood, all wave and say hi. Inside is all fresh, clean and nicely updated. Outside may take you off-guard, as well as the neighborhood, as people are slowly improving the old homes. Some places are very well-kept outside, others are run-down and over-grown, but nice people so don't let it scare you. Outside/yard of this home could use some clean-up/trimming etc but we did not mind, it just made us a bit leary of what inside might be. But inside was very nice.
One call-out: We were visiting NMU, and it is about a 25 minute drive. 15 minutes might get you to the outskirts of Marquette, but it's 10-15 mins further to downtown or to Lake Superior. Very helpful host, Dan, when I locked the keys both inside and the cleaning lady came to let us in, and was very pleasant. Would definintely stay again!
Absolutely loved the rental. Super clean and cozy and the area was perfect. House is in a quiet and secluded area, perfect for relaxing and getting away in the UP. Dan was an awesome host and really appreciated the communication from him. We will definitely be back!!!

Fun little downtown area shops and places to eat.
Easy trip to Marquette and the lakeshore - even an art festival while there.
Beautiful space and a great mix of new and old to match the house, and a relaxing outdoor area.
Would absolutely stay here again - it is on my "list"!
It was the perfect stay. We were able to bird watch and see deer everymorning and night. The locations was in the perfect area if you enjoy quieter areas. Our host was great at communicating and giving us good intell on the ins and out of the U.P. Hill Street House was clean and affordable. Well worth the stay and would do it again!
