SEVEN NIGHT MINIMUM - At Christmas/New Year, arrivals and departures are required on December 26th or 27th unless a minimum of 12 nights is booked.

Casa Cody is a single-level historic adobe home just off Garcia Street, close to Canyon Road and Acequia Madre and is THE ultimate East Side Santa Fe address. In one block you can walk to Downtown Subscription, the favorite coffee house for locals and tourists alike (to get their daily java and hometown newspaper fixes). Canyon Road, with its many galleries, shops and restaurants is only two blocks and the Plaza, the heart of Santa Fe life, is a short 15-minute walk.

Casa Cody provides a casual Santa Fe ambiance with its king master suite, queen bedroom and comfortable country kitchen. You will have every amenity, including cable HDTV, WIFI, and a music system. The furnishings reflect that fusion of styles that make Santa Fe so interesting – southwestern architectural features (Saltillo tile, vigas, latillas, nichos) including two kiva fireplaces - with rustic Mexican painted and distressed wood furniture combined with more modern features of American design.

You will luxuriate on the king bed in the large master bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom with colorful tile and walk in shower (only). There is a 42" HDTV in this room as well as a large closet.

The second (queen) bedroom, is located at the other end of the house to provide privacy and looks out onto the courtyard. It has a separate entry. A work space is provided in this room, so could work as an office, if needed. The second bathroom is located just off the living room, and provides a full tub and shower.

The living room comfortably seats five and has a wood-burning kiva fireplace and 42” HDTV hidden in a rustic cabinet. The sofa converts to a queen sleeper sofa.

The dining room easily seats six. It is open to the large kitchen (gas stove) and also looks out onto the patio. There is another wood-burning kiva fireplace in this room.

The outdoor space at Casa Cody is delightful. The entire property is enclosed, so is great for dogs, which we welcome. The private patio has a garden area as well as outdoor dining for six (extension table) with umbrella. Since this home is located in the historic district, there is a huge tree shading the outdoor area…very nice!

All amenities are included...linens, fully-equipped kitchen, off-street parking for two medium sized cars, washer & dryer, cable TV, telephone, and fast WIFI (good for streaming). The house has recently added a ductless, mini-split air conditioning system throughout the house.

This property worked well for our month long stay in Santa Fe. We brought our dog and the enclosed yard was perfect for him. It was a little tight getting in and out of the yard with our car but we mastered it. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs and ample linens were available. The location was convenient to many of the attractions that draw people to Santa Fe

Phenomenal location and cozy house

The property is well appointed and located just blocks away from Canyon Road and the historic District of Santa Fe. There are two Kivas and a good supply of firewood. The primary bedroom is spacious and has heated floors.

Quick getaway

Very cozy old style Santa Fe home close in to the Old Santa Fe. House very comfortable with the Kiva fireplaces that warmed up winter nights. Easy access to the excellent restaurants that Santa Fe has to offer. Definitely will come back, if available, next visit.

Experience the Charm of Santa Fe

Casa Cody allows you to immerse yourself in the culture and charm of Santa Fe. Located in the historical Eastside, two blocks off Canyon Road, just walking the neighborhood is getting to know Santa Fe like a local. Off beautiful Garcia Street within the adobe walls, all is quiet and serene. The house offers separation of two beautiful bedrooms on opposite sides of the living room, dining room and kitchen. The nearby coffee shop and book store are a gathering spot for the locals. You feel like you live here rather than one of many tourists in a crowded area. The house provides everything you could want.

Cody House

The location is perfect. You can walk to town. There's a coffee shop and book store at the end of the block, and it's very quiet. The management was excellent, responsive and polite. Alas, Casa Cody is dated and in need of a facelift. Everything works, but it needs its window coverings, furnishings and electronics updated. There are lots of chatychkes everywhere and it could use a deep cleaning. The water pressure doesn't allow for two people to shower simultaneously or to run an appliance such as the washer or dishwasher while someone is showering. There are lots of lamps, extension cords and power strips. My visit was in between seasons, but the patio needed a power wash and dusting, as there were plenty of days nice enough to sit outside. The house is comfy enough and worry free for dogs or kids. It's a sweet adobe home and with a little redecorating, deep cleaning and updating it would be a gem. It's location can't be beat.

Great Location!

First time to Santa Fe and loved the location of the place, short walk to all the galleries on Canyon Road and to the downtown area. The house was charming and cozy. A lovely place to stay for a month.

Lovely home. Great beds, linens and kitchen. Like previous review, really tight gated drive space for large cars. My Honda Pilot required both of us to get in and out. A little hairy but we managed. This is a wonderful location for a long weekend and you are walking to the Paseo and Canyon Road. We stayed a week and did more day trips to the surrounding areas. Between the driveway and traffic congestion, a location away from this central area might be a better option. But having said that, it is a very nice property.

Great location, comfy bed, secure gated property

My dog, Wrigley, and I had a fabulous time. It's located in a great area. Very close to restaurants, galleries and shopping but in a residential area. Lots of side streets for walking my dog with very little traffic. My bed was soooo comfy, and the room itself was lovely. The rest of the place is cozy, comfortable, very authentic and very nice. I was there for the opera festival and it was a 15 minute drive so not bad at all. GREAT coffee shop 3 blocks away. Grocery store close by and a wonderful Gourmet Indian takeout & delivery place very close as well. Raaga Go. The chef was on beat Bobby Flay. There is a very cool gate that you can close with your car inside. Not a big yard, but certainly space for Wrigley to do his business when we couldn't go for a walk. The weather was lovely and I worked from the table outside on the terrace several days. At no fault of the owner and manager, there were a few issues but they were unbelievably responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again next year.

❤️Casa Cody

Casa Cody was our home, away from home, for the last month. The experience could not have been better! Casa Cody could also be called Casa Cozy. It was the perfect set up for ourselves and the couples that visited us. We hope to return to this wonderful little Casita someday.

Cozy & Charming

Casa Cody felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. It was so comfortable that we spent a lot of time sitting near one of the two kiva fireplaces reading or playing scrabble. But when we did leave we could easily walk to the coffee shop and the book shop and onto Canyon Road at the end of the street. The location is superb. Easy to walk to the town center. There’s even a little patio that would be a great place to hang out during another, warmer time Of year.

Excellent in all ways.

Very clean. Great space. Lovely decor. 2 couples can have private space. Living room was very comfortable. Often times I see rentals that will not accommodate four adults sitting comfortably for the evening listening to music or watching television. The outdoor patio was really great and we spent a lot of time out there as well. The property is entered from a narrow road. Two vehicles fit In the space adequately however it was challenging getting our extended cab pick up. It worked out great with a little teamwork. The fenced yard was secure for our dog. And provided complete privacy. Property manager was fantastic. Everything you need is there. We will definitely stay there again. Close to Canyon Road and easy access to main streets for exploring the city. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Casa Cody felt like a step back in time

Our first venture out during the Covoid 19 restrictions. The house is charming and had everything to make our stay feel like we were in “our second” home. We enjoyed 10 days and Santa Fe felt like the Santa Fe of 30 years ago. We loved the private courtyard and had most of our meals al fresco. Because of Covoid 19 restrictions, we dined out less and cooked in more. Kaune’s had wonderful gourmet options and Casa Cody had everything to make our meals be perfect. We also appreciated the Sierra Hiking book and used it to explore local trails instead of local galleries. A lovely retreat!

The place to stay in Santa Fe

If you are looking for an amazing Santa Fe experience, Casa Cody is the place for you. Not only is the property spacious and appointed with the charm of Santa Fe, the neighborhood is a quick walk to both Canyon Road and the Plaza and the neighborhood itself is beautiful. My dogs loved their walks and the neighbors were super friendly. Any questions we had on the property were quickly answered by the property manager. We are coming back and I wish this property was available! This will be our home away from home in Santa Fe!

WONDERFUL!! Cozy, roomy, well furnished & well decorated.

We felt so at home in this cozy home. The house is much larger than many others of the same rental cost. The large master suite was very comfortable and we enjoyed having a full kitchen that was well equipped for cooking. The house was decorated very nicely with many special Santa Fe touches. The home is completely fenced so we didn't have to worry about our dogs when they were outside. They accommodated our dogs very well with 2 dog doors and additional bedding to cover beds or furniture. Although we brought our own covers, this was very thoughtful. We loved this home and plan to rent it again in the future. Thank you so much!!

Our dream home when in Santa Fe

Casa Cody became our dream home in Santa Fe. Every detail of this traditional adobe-style home is exquisite and welcoming. Skylights, modern kitchen, exquisite master suite (with comfortable bed & bath on the other end of the house--perfect for another couple to stay!), kiva fireplace. We slept snugly and awoke to beautiful New Mexico sunshine. Only minutes to walk to the Plaza, Casa Cody is the perfect place to stay when visiting The City Different. The house and all appointments are in perfect condition; it is obviously loved and tended to very well in between guests' visits. We will return, and can't imagine staying anywhere else.
