An amazing property to relax a get away from a busy life! This was the second year in a row we spent an extended weekend here! We loved just relaxing on the porch playing games and listening to all the nature! Will come back again an again!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! It is such a peaceful and secluded property with a stunning cabin that allows for a restful and relaxing stay. This was the perfect place to welcome 2023 with loved ones! This pace is a hidden gem and the owners are wonderful and very responsive. We can’t recommend this place enough for your next getaway!
Thank you to the owners for an amazing experience. Cabin is way off the beaten path we didn’t hear a noise besides animals all weekend. Cabin is perfectly clean and stocked with everything needed for a great weekend. Owners were exceptionally easy to deal with. We will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone.
This was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sipping coffee, listening to the many birds while watching the sunrise from the front porch. Our stay was short but we are looking forward to another stay in the near future.
This pre-civil war cabin was everything it described and more. The cabin was exceptionally clean and had all the modern conveniences needed.
Communication with the owner was very prompt. We had no problems with the internet or cell phones.
The setting was beautiful! It was quiet and serene. We really enjoyed hearing the birds.
We definitely recommend staying if you want to sit back on the porch and relax.

We will for sure come back for years to come. Thank you for providing an amazing place to stay and unwind!!
We had the most amazing stay at this wonderfully renovated cabin. Serene is the best word for this place. My favorite place was the porch. My husband's favorite place was the firepit. The gas log fireplace made it easy to up the ambiance with a flip of a switch. We wanted a weekend to chill out and get away from all the busyness of life, and this was the perfect spot. Our host was quick to respond and very kind. We will definitely be back!
The cabin owners referred to this cabin as ‘a little slice of heaven’, and they weren’t wrong! It was such a nice little cabin, and very clean. We were perfectly comfortable there. The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful, and gave us room to move around and explore a little. I would definitely stay again, and would recommend it to any couples or small families!
The hosts of the property were amazing as well. I had a problem with my car, and they were super helpful, even offering to go out of their way to help me get it taken care of. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience!
We were so impressed by the cabin. It had everything we needed, was decorated just perfectly for a historic cabin, the property was beautiful and we greatly enjoyed the amount and variety of birds. It was also very clean and communicating with Ashley and Robin was easy and they were quick to respond when we had questions. Adams county is also AMAZING! Lots of small conservation areas with trails. We stayed a whole week and still didn't see everything that was on our "list". Just means we will be back :-)
My wife and I stayed at far look Cabin for our wedding anniversary. We have visited many properties throughout the area and a lot in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. We have been searching for that one place that we want to return to season after season. We finally found it with far look Cabin. Everything was perfect. The cabin itself is wonderful and the property is just breathtaking. Ashley is a very attentive host and makes sure that you have everything you need and answers all of your questions. I cannot recommend this cabin enough and my wife and I can’t wait to visit again soon.
A cabin to enjoy the nature and have modern needs met.
This cabin is polished, lovely inside and out, has a view, has the charm, has the feel. But it also has the problem of sleeping arrangements common with retrofitted cabins; it’s great for two adults and two children as you are all sleeping in the same room on comfortable beds. But four adults….. eeee I wouldn’t suggest it as we will want our privacy and the adjacent beds are separated twins literally beside the master bed. The property is well kept and I suggest you get food at the Millers Farm nearby for that Amish kick, just note hours and days of operation. This one is not just off the paved road so basic suv vehicles will be fine but no low riding cars.
