In a few minutes you can also walk to the lively centre, the port and the fortified city of La Ville built on the sea nearby. Concarneau is not only a popular resort, but also one of the most important fishing ports in France. Every day early seafood and all kinds of fresh fish are released here, which you can then buy directly in the market halls or at the cozy weekly market.
