Bring the whole family to this beautiful and peaceful place to stay. With Redwoods all around, there is much to explore. We are also only a few minutes away from the beach and Mad River. There are also a lot of hiking trails around as well.

Cute and comfortable property in a nice neighborhood. Everything works, please note that this is a multi level home. One bedroom on main floor, 2 bedrooms on second floor and the fourth bedroom is on the third floor. There are also steps to get into the house and the interior steps are narrow and steep. Overall a lovely home
Overall, the house severed its purpose, a place to gather as a family and have some meals, sleep, shower.
It's missing the home like feeling, I know it's a short stay but, still a little home feeling/welcoming is nice to.
It would be useful to have a landing area when you come in to place all your bags, backpacks, coats, hat's and or keys.
The bathrooms were in great shape but, for my party of 5 there was not enough towel racks.
The bedrooms were missing luggage racks, bench or dresser and the luggage was put on the floor having some clothing items on the floor. There is a simple fix, get luggage racks, each room had a full-size closet, put shelves, 5 to 6, in half of the closet for the clothing, also had to bring up 2 chairs from the dining room in-order to sit to get dressed and 1 as a nightstand for my glasses, book, a glass of water and cell phone. Nothing major but these little touches give it that home like/welcoming feeling.
The house was in a peaceful area very quiet, see saw a fox and a deer in the back yard and very close to nearby things to do! They did provide some coffee and tea which is a very nice home like welcoming feeling!!
I would stay here again!!
Some wrinkles to iron out but spacious and lots of potential
We were very grateful to have this home available to us in order to visit our Cal Poly Humboldt University student son for Christmas including being allowed us to bring our 2 smalls dogs. The home is set in a very quiet and pretty setting against tall redwoods. The home is very spacious with plenty of space including 4 bedrooms, a large family room, dining room and accommodating kitchen. It was raining pretty hard during our time there and cold so we did not get to enjoy the outside decks or fire pit but we imagine in better weather it would be pleasureful. You can tell the home is new to the rental market as there were a handful of things still to get sorted out one of which was some additional furnishings to make the house fill less empty and getting window coverings in place. The furnace and water heater were new and did there job. The location is a nice distance from the town and highway 101 and the beautiful coastline.
My family and I had a great time staying here. Wish we were able to stay longer. The house is very spacious, the furniture seemed new, and the beds are comfortable, the host greeted us upon booking and let us know she was available when needed. Large open area for the kids to run around and play and super close to a bunch of attraction. We would love to stay here again!
This house was somewhat updated, but had some serious issues. Biggest issue for me was lack of window coverings, especially in the bathrooms. There was a window looking right into the shower, with NO blinds or curtains. We had to hang a towel up in the window for privacy. The floors were really dirty (our crawling baby had black knees from the floor). The heater worked somewhat (it would stop working at 72 degrees, no matter what the thermostat was set at). The kitchen was clean, but was sparse with supplies (zero extra trash bags, used kitchen sponge at the sink, chipped glasses, etc.). There were very few extra towels and washcloths. The tub upstairs was plumbed reverse (was wondering why there was no hot water at first). ALL of the vents were closed (why?), and one bedroom the vent would NOT open at all. The upstairs loft bedroom had ZERO vents, and the ceiling fan was on the same switch as the lights, so forget having the fan on at night. Also, the dining table was comically small, smaller than a card table. If you are advertising a house with 4 rooms, maybe have a table bigger than a 2 person table. The living room had the most hideous light fixture (think 8' diameter spider web). Also, the wifi worked, but the internet didn't. The only nice thing I can say is that it did have a good size laundry area, and tankless hot water heater. I would not stay again, nor recommend to others.
