Gem hidden in the mountains

This cabin is absolutely stunning and magnificent once you walk into the large living space. The inside and outside was stunning. We really enjoyed the large fire pit in the middle of the living room. There was a ton of space for my party of roughly 15. Some people ended up sleeping in the theater room on the pullout couches. If you’re going for a “luxurious” experience for every guest I would probably keep the couches out of the bed count. If you have kids sleeping on them then they will be fine. That being said the actual beds were amazingly comfortable. The couches should not detract in any way from this experience. If I could rate it 6/5 stars I would. It might be higher price range, but if you’re willing to spend the money you will have a better experience. We will be returning to this specific cabin in the future. It was remote and serene while still being very close to many things. The host in particular was very responsive and available any time. They were very pleasant during all interactions

Beautiful and unique property

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. We had a large family get together with 8 adults and 6 children ages 3-12. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of thoughtful extras. There was plenty of parking for everyone and the driveway was not steep. There was plenty of room for everyone's individual families and the kids had lots to do with the arcade games, tv's and pool table. One of our favorite things about the property (besides the wonderful balconies that overlook the quiet forest) was walking from the property to the main road. It's all down hill, meanders by a creek and is very peaceful and pretty. We had family members pick us up at the bottom and drive us back up.

Coolest Spot in Gatlinburg!

Hands down the coolest spot to stay at in Gatlinburg. The house was huge and had everything we could have wanted, very clean and tons of space for everyone. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and movie theater! The hosts were very friendly and gave us recommendations for places to check out while we were in town. We're already planning on staying at another one of the properties hosted by this group and booking our annual mountain trip here again!

This was the best trip we have ever had! The home was absolutely stunning and the host was amazing!

If I could give a 6 star review, I would! We travel often around the country and this was hands down the best stay we have ever had. The home is absolutely amazing--pictures just don't do it justice! Our group loved the chef's kitchen, huge dining room, the private movie theater, and the wall of windows overlooking the woods is stunning. It's hard to find a home large enough to accomodate our family and this home was perfect for our group. We also loved the private deck--it has plenty of space for everyone to sit around the fire, hop in the hot tub, and enjoy a night under the stars right in the heart of the mountains. As a note, the home was spotless and stocked with everything we could need for our stay. The location of this home was absolutely perfect. It is tucked away in a private road at the top of the mountains so it was peaceful and quiet, but it was only a short 20 ish minute drive in either direction to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We loved staying in this peaceful mountain home while also being just a quick drive away from all the area has to offer. We truly felt like we got the best of both worlds! In our experience, the home we stay in is very important, but the host can make or break a trip. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with this host team. From the moment we booked, they were responsive, and made sure they answered all of our questions. Our personal host, Sunny, also provided recommendations for places to check out in the area and made sure to check in on us once we got settled in, which we appreciated so much! The hospitality and communication was excellent--you can tell they take a lot of pride in their home as well as the guest experience. We plan to stay here for all our future trips to the area and cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking to stay in the Smokies!

Majestic house with a cheap property manager

The house is fantastic. So gorgeous. Sits about 2 miles from the parkway, up a winding road, deep in the woods. Looks like a castle of sorts, complete with stone facings, deep brown mahogany wood beams, etc. Has a gigantic ceiling height (maybe 50+ feet in the atrium). Rooms are over-sized; each room has a king bed, walk-in closet, and en suite bath (the showers look like they could fit 10+ people...). The dining room seats up to 20 people at one time. The best part of the house was the lower porch with the outdoor fire place. Bunk room has 4 beds; the top railings are a little low; everyone was scared that the kids were going to fall out during the night. Media room is fantastic. The bad (I think many of these could have easily been solved by the property manager) - no welcome book provided or home instructions (had to reach out to property manager to get the wifi passcode, where this could have been provided ahead of time; Also it would have been nice to have an overview of the house systems detailed in the book; calling out that there are 2 thermostats, etc) - Internet/Wifi speed is unreliable. It helps to be connected but it is still pretty spotty. - Not enough towels (I think we were supplied with 12-15 regular sized towels, but there were no bathmats or many hand towels provided; when you use the hot tub, you need 2x the amount of towels as many of us didn't want to use the same towel) - Hot tub - the hot tub water was pretty murky. No chemicals were left behind for the guests to fix themselves. - Kitchen - We were expecting there to be basic food items in the house (salt, pepper, oil, etc) but this was not the case. There was a spice rack left in the house, which was nice, but many of the bottles were empty including the salt/pepper. - lack of cleaning items - some bathrooms had hand soap, while some did not (and there weren't any extra bottles around). some bathrooms had hand towels for hand drying, some did not. There was not a broom/dust pan to be found for tidying up. -little fire wood provided ; besides for the 3 logs provided, it would have been nice to know where you could buy additional firewood or gotten advice to collect wood from forest floor). Also there were no lighters or matches provided. Luckily one of us carried matches, so we were able to start the fires each night...
