DISAPPOINTMENT

This rental description is very deceiving. First there is no pool next to the house, which is not mentioned in the description, second this house is right in back of travelocity and a travel lodge. The police were called twice on Saturday night 7/22/23 to these places. This made my children and fiance very uneasy. The place had a dead bugs and cockroaches under the seats in the living room. The beds were smaller than advertised. All the beds were twin beds. I asked for a refund, and there are no refunds. Questioning as to if I go through this site again. Also I will be putting a big review with pictures on google map contributions.

Discusting

Do not rent this property. It is part or a very run down Travel Lodge. Driveway has overflowing stinky dumpster, and downed trees. Driveway is overgrown and moss covered. steps to home are cracked and pulling away, outside deck is rotting, peeling unusable weeds growing through, most deck chairs are broken. Entering the home reeks of mildew. 3 towels and no hand towels for 8 adult guests. 4 double beds, no queen bed as advertised. kitchen had 5 plates, 4 butter knives and 3 bowls, two 1 qt. sauce pans, non-stick fry pan pitted and peeling and a crockpot, and no other cooking utensils. Hot water in kitchen runs when turning on the cold water handle, no kitchen towels, no paper products, no hot pads, no toaster, food from previous guest in refrigerator, dead wasps on the floor, and thick coating of dust under couch. Dining table that seats 4 and a 5th chair off to the side. Broken cabinet doors, missing flooring, 1 lamp in 15 x 30 living room, one under-wattaged lamp in each bedroom, no overhead lights, no dressers or surface areas for clothing or luggage in any of the bedrooms, one bedroom does't even have a closet, average 3 hangers per closet, windows painted shut, no screens on windows, dishwasher doesn't work, no broom or vacuum, no garbage bags, partial roll of toilet paper in each bath, no back-up TP, tape and ribbons on walls and curtain rods from a previous guest's party. At night, manager was yelling at apparently homeless people trying to get into a room
