We were in Caldwell for a family members wedding. The house was the perfect size for our group. The home was comfortable and cozy. The location was a bit out of town, but it was still convenient and so beautiful and peaceful. We all said we slept like babies!
Our stay at this VRBO was an absolute delight. Nestled in the serene ranchlands, we were surrounded by peaceful countryside, with cows and donkeys grazing in the pasture behind the house. The property was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. It offered the perfect blend of tranquility and comfort, making it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle. Perfectly situated between Lake Somerville and College Station, it offered an ideal location for exploring the region. We loved hiking at Lake Somerville State Park Birch Creek Unit and catching a thrilling football game at Texas A&M. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for armadillos in the front yard at night! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway.
This home is perfect for all your needs. Love the back patio and overlooking the pond and cows. The home is well equipped. The host were very nice and responsive. We will book this again.
This house was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of room and the country setting was divine. But the host was what made it truly special. Upon leaving the house, we were (as usual) a complete circus with all our little children. Left several items behind, including a child's ipad that that our baby nephew had hidden under (of all things) the propane tank outside. Not only did the host locate the missing items, but she mailed it all to me. She truly went above and beyond. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to enjoy family time in a beautiful country setting.
Comfortable and cozy Ranch with cows and the real Ranch feel! Older home but very clean with comfy beds and furniture. Just what we needed while tailgating for an Aggie game. Our only issue was with the maps programs, they took us to the wrong address in the dark…..look for a green address sign and no locked gate!
The space was great and my grandkids enjoyed the cows greeting them. Relaxing and enjoyable. We appreciated the welcome gifts as well and they were definitely used. 😊
Loved staying at this large property. Views off the back patio are amazing. While the home could definitely use some updating, it was very clean and that's the most important thing for our family. Would definitely stay here again. Extremely close to Chilifest.
If you need a getaway from life and need some country time this is a great place. House is laid out well with three bedrooms on one side amd master on the other. House was very clean and comfy. No wifi but who wants that noise when you have a beautiful country view. Definately a stay if near College Station and want a get away.
We loved the location away from all the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough proximity for an easy drive to Kyle Field, Northgate, and Campus. Great overall stay and next time we return to College Station we will be staying again.
We were here from the Netherlands for work at TAMU for two weeks. It was a great place to stay and relax in the evening but still convenient to town restaurants and campus
